Cat Sitters in Sibson

After discussions with Miriam prior to the sit as to the requirements of my dogs we agreed she would come with her partner. They were both a delight and could not have been more pleasant and thoughtful. My dogs have very different needs, due to their disparity in age and breed. The needs of both were met with love and care. I am hoping they can come back next year.

Isabella has been amazing - far better than we could have ever imagined. She was diligent and attentive to our boys and spent plenty of time with them, giving them affection and play time in equal measure to their basic care needs. One of our boys has separation anxiety and on our return he was the least stressed we’d ever seen him after us being away, which is all thanks to Isabella. She was communicative and responsive, which allowed us to enjoy our holiday without feeing guilty for leaving our boys. She even hoovered and moped the whole flat before she left! We would not hesitate to invite her back on a future sit.

Sue and Steve are a delight - they look after Molly as if she were their own, and they leave the house looking even better than we left it. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Doug & Kathryn sat for five days for my 14 year old Shihtzu, Kallie. I felt very confident in leaving my boy with them both. They took him out for plenty of walks even though he had to be encouraged on occasions (he is 14 after all), and followed all instructions I left regarding feeding, sleeping etc. They are both very easy and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My house was immaculate when I returned and they had even stripped the bed and it was all washed and drying on the line when I arrived home. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needed reliable sitters for their pets.

A pleasure to have Jessica back in our home to care for Mildred. Mildred was cared for so well, and our home was left lovely. Thank you !!

Phil & Liz are very experienced sitters and this shows. Very relaxed, very easy to deal with, our dogs looked so happy and healthy and the house was clean and tidy on our return. We were kept updated during our holiday via whatsapp. We would love to host Phil and Liz again.

Jackie and Nigel stayed at the house for a month through August. They came a day early so we could show them the workings of the house and the garden, particularly the complex irrigation system. A few days without water would result in a lot of damage. As it happened there was a major issue with the irrigation and Nigel, a very practical man, was fantastic in monitoring and directing the gardener on mending the problems. He also watered all the pots and the vegetable garden leaving everything looking great. As summarised in the ratings we thought they were excellent house sitters. Our old cat had died a couple of weeks before they arrived so unfortunately there was not a resident pet to look after but they had the company of a visiting cat which seems to have designs on moving in. They are a delightful couple and we enjoyed a couple of meals with them before we left. Jackie left the house looking very organised and clean and they kindly bought milk and bread for us in addition to a bottle of wine and chocolates. We would happily recommend them to others and will try to entice them to return next year.

Kath and Roger were wonderful house/dog sitters. Smudge was so well looked after and he had a wonderful week. We had daily updates on all the great adventures they went on. They were so kind to have supper ready for us on our return, which was very much appreciated after such a long drive. The house was spotless as was smudge, who clearly loved them. I have no hesitation in recommending Kath and Roger and would welcome them back.

We invited Andrea to sit for us again this summer as she was so fantastic last year! Andrea is a great sitter and our dog Pedro and hamster Kai are really happy with her - it’s great being able to go away and relax knowing that the pets and home are being so well cared for! Andrea sends photo and videos to let us know how the pets are getting on and responds quickly to any messages. Thank you Andrea and we hope you can come and sit for us again!

Paula was my dream pet/house sitter! I couldn’t have been any happier or any calmer while away on our vacation. We picked Paula up from the airport a couple nights early so that we could get to know her and share everything about the dogs and house. We had a lovely time getting to know her and becoming fast friends. While we were preparing to go away she jumped right in and was helpful with everything. While away she sent photos and messages to share how the time was going with the dogs. She was very self sufficient and communicative, she even corralled 3 deer off our property that had gotten through the fence! We arrived home to everything perfectly clean and tidy and very happy pups! My pups will miss her dearly! As will we 💜 we enjoyed a little extra time with Paula once arriving home which was just as lovely! Even though we were home she was helpful on all levels and when we were busy getting things unpacked and back to normal she helped with the dogs and our clean up. She was such a joy to have, incredibly respectful of our home and our needs in the family, she is a wonderful human being that we would like to have return to watch our pups but also just to visit! If Paula applies to sit your home and pups do not miss the opportunity 🤩

Lucy & Orville (& gorgeous Etta of course!) housesat for us when we went away over Xmas & New Year this year - signing up to zeewoi and finding them was definitely one of the best decisions I made last year!! From first contact to last, they have been friendly, accommodating and 100% reliable and I have no hesitation at all in highly recommending them as 5* in all areas. Our Airedale terrier and Cyprus rescue are not the easiest dogs in the world but Lucy & Orville handled everything with an obvious skill and dedication to providing the best care. This was most evident when they were faced with dealing with a Houdini dog who decided that now was an appropriate time to find a way out of our previously secure garden!! They went above and beyond the call of duty in managing a tricky situation and keeping us updated every step of the way. We were also given regular updates and photos of the naughty reprobates which allowed us to enjoy our holiday, knowing that everything was in hand. I genuinely cannot rate these Housesitters highly enough and if you are thinking of getting in touch with them about a housesitting need but feeling in any way unsure.....don’t be! It’ll be the best decision you make today!
