I had a very pleasant experience staying at this property in Oakland, Tasha is a very sweet cat and easy to take care of. Pratima and Wojciech are an amazing couple, Communication was the easiest and constant, they were able to explain everything in details regarding the main daily tasks, and also they gave me tips about locations and restaurants where to hang out around Oakland and Berkeley area. The house is up on the hills in a very safe area, the view it's stunning you can literally see the whole bay with San Francisco and Oakland. You can get to Bart station very easily by bus or Uber, ( I even walked one day and it took me like an hour), and if you like to drive your car around the freeway is just 3 minutes away. I am really glad I had this opportunity I hope I can meet Pratima and Wojciech again in the future.
This was a really nice first sit for me. The house was lovely, conveniently located and very comfortable. Nala is such a friendly, affectionate dog, and very well-behaved. We had fun walking and trotting round the parks! The hosts were welcoming, made sure I knew all I needed to, and made sure that I could leave at a reasonable time, when they were running late on their way home. Thank you Andy and Sara!
It’s just lovely when you finish a pet sit feeling like you’ve made new friends! Alister and Kathy are so warm and welcoming and Sika is a wonderful companion. She is a joy to play with and so affectionate. Communication was excellent and timely both prior to and during the stay. They took the time to give me a tour of the village and the places Sika walks and even showed me some local attractions upon their return. Their cottage is sunny and uncluttered and comfy in every way. It is situated within walking distance to everything you might need in the most quaint little Cornish community. There are very convenient walks for Sika and a nearby field for games of fetch. Having a car makes it possible to easily visit nearby walks and beautiful villages. Alister and Kathy kindly recommended their local dog sitter so I could hire him for a couple of hours, and feel at ease when I went a bit further a field. Alister & Kathy, it was a pleasure and thank you for sharing your home and sweet Sika with me! What a lovely memory. Anyone would be lucky to have the experience of house sitting for you!
There was a change of plans, and Cindy brought both of the cats with her so I was only responsible for the house and plants! I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay! Her property is beautiful with all of her plants, and theres even a little pond with ducklings!
