Scheduled multiple sitters for overlapping timelines with ZERO communication. Had extra pets not listed. No food for pets and water was turned off. House was buried in trash and open food containers. I never sat with the pets since the other sitters arrived before me and had gotten their phone number from a neighbor, and could actually contact them.

Loved my house sit for Bobbie and Thomas. Their pets are adorable and the house is wonderful. Walks are stunning with the backdrop of the Downs and wide open spaces.
I think a car is pretty important as it is in a rural spot albeit with an excellent pub next door!

Anne
My time at Annie's was extremely enjoyable, and Annie was an excellent host that made it a wonderful stay!

She provided all the resources I needed to care for all the furry friends and was super helpful in helping me through text while I tried coaxing Eva, a shy but gentle, gentle kitty that loves hanging out under the bed.

The friends!

Kona is like an old soul, enjoying her naps but bringing all the love. She will love to follow you, but also has some favorite lying spots on the couch and the rug. And she loves her belly rubs! One of the more adorable things you'll see will be when she goes searching for her piggy toy and has a spontaneous, but super grin-generating, burst of energy with her toy.

Newton is going to be your right-hand pal, following you everywhere and always wanting to cuddle or help you with whatever you're up to. He is like a little dog, and it is so funny to watch him go about his day and just think to yourself what his little kitten brain is thinking...Haha.

Walle will make you work for his affection, but once he warms up to you will come out and play. They all love their pets, but if you really want to coax Walle give him a good head rub and he will fall in love with you.

Eva might have the most gentle heart of them all. For the first handful of days, she would only hang out under the bed but towards the end of my stay she would open up to me more and even come into my bedroom and hang out on the bed! She is so gentle and calm, but will make you work for her love. But once she gets comfortable with you, she will warm your heart and make the stay that much better.

If you have an opportunity to care for these friends, I highly recommend it and think you'll love your stay!

Stacy
We had a lovely time at Stacy’s sitting for Cloud! He is one of the friendliest, cuddliest snugglers we’ve ever met. Stacy was kind and communicative and left clear instructions and was available for questions whenever we had them. We look forward to sitting for Cloud again soon!

Stacy’s place is centrally located in Denver and in walking distance to the best taco place in town, Tacos, Tequila, and Whiskey, and the beautiful Carla Madison Rec Center.

Thanks for the chance to hang with the best cat in the world, Stacy!

Monica
Monica and her clan are so sweet! Monica was easy to communicate with, gave great care instructions, and was extremely hospitable and thoughtful, even providing us dinner the night we arrived and the night we left.

The pets are darling. Each has its own sweet, quirky personality that makes loving them easy. Big Boy is shy at first and tends to bark until he’s comfortable with you, but then once he warms up, he’s a sweetheart who enjoys affection and the occasional playtime. Jolie and Baxter are active little shadows, wanting to hang out with their human companions and receive lots of snuggles and playtime. Schnooks is the old lady cat who mostly keeps to herself but enjoys some scritches and will definitely let you know when it’s mealtime. :)

Because of delayed repairs to Monica’s house, we didn’t stay at her place but at a rental unit. However, we were in the same area as her residence, and would recommend that sitters have a car if possible since everything is quite spread out and some roads in neighboring areas are not safely walkable (few sidewalks and almost no crosswalks). Of course, there are plenty of options for food and grocery delivery, and lots of great restaurants nearby to choose from, so we certainly didn’t feel deprived. Downtown Houston is also very accessible via car, about 25 minutes away, depending on where you’re heading.

Overall, we had a lovely experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time with the pets. We’d definitely return if our schedules align in the future, and would recommend this sit to anyone interested!

Alexa
I recently had the pleasure of pet sitting for Alexa's dog Frankie and Amanda and Bob's dog Annie at Alexa's house in Somerville. This unique group dog sit for two different families was a fantastic experience!

Alexa is amazing. She's incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very communicative. Likewise, Amanda and Bob, Annie's dog parents, were equally wonderful to interact with.

Alexa's home is lovely—comfortable, and easy to live in. The location is fabulous, being so close to transportation, which was convenient since we didn't have a car and stayed for two weeks.

Frankie is the sweetest boy and so easy to care for. He became our work companion, keeping us company with his adorable presence and giving us lots of smiles and content groans when he got his ears rubbed.

Annie, an adorable girl, was also a joy to take care of. She loved keeping us company during our work day. She slept by my feet and gave a cute little glance or cuddle from time to time.

We left them alone on some days and evenings, and he had no problems.

Both dogs were delights, and I have only great things to say about the experience. I miss them!

If you can take on this dog sit, grab it! Similarly, if you come across a dog sit for Annie in Boston, go for it, as Amanda and Bob are also amazing.

It is highly recommended!
