From the time we arrived, things went smoothly. Brent was able to pick us up from the airport and chatting with both Brent and Genna was easy and fun. They have a comfortable home, with everything you will need. We had a wonderful time taking care of Jozi (the dog), and the cats Guinness and Schnapps. I always worry a bit about indoor/outdoor cats, but they never seemed to go far and are always happy to come back into the house. The cats loved to sleep near us, but they don’t sleep with you at night. Jozi was very affectionate once she got to know us. She is a reactive dog, but we had no problem taking her for her walk every day. Genna can help show you how. There is a bus stop, a tram a little further away (in the other direction), and plenty of Ubers to take you wherever you need to go. There is a small market just before you get to the tram which was an added convenience. We are looking forward to returning for a quick visit in August. Thank you Brent and Genna for your hospitality and we enjoyed our time together.
My housesit with Evan and Isak was truly a wonderful experience! Christopher and Jan are very kind and thoughtful hosts, providing clear instructions and ensuring I had everything needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into their home what is located in a peaceful neighbourhood. It has lovely parks nearby for some enjoyable walks with Evan and other amenities just around the corner. Evan and Isak were an absolute delight to care for; well trained, very sweet, affectionate, and easy-going. I couldn't have asked for a better housesitting experience and would gladly return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Christopher and Jan, for entrusting me with your home and beloved pets!
