Mae & Emma were absolutely wonderful dogs - Mae is very affectionate and wants to be pet at all times, and Emma loves nothing more than playing fetch in the yard and on walks. They're super low maintenance and extremely sweet and well-behaved dogs, I miss them dearly! Sheri & Kevin were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the sit. Any questions were answered quickly and with kindness. Their home and the surrounding area of Tronadora is beautiful and relaxing, with clear views of Lake Arenal all around. I highly recommend this sit for anyone looking for some fresh air and a comfortable, chill environment.
Spending one week with Sutherland as a coworker and housemate was an absolute delight. Sutherland is so loving and calm. He's one big pup (and doesn't appear to be fully aware of it) which means he can be playful and try for some hugs but he's also super into day naps. He had clear routines and rules that should be enforced and he was very cooperative. Harry and Moa were very welcoming and generous. We had a video chat before the sit and they toured me around the house before going away. Their home is located by the water with a huge garden, it's incredibly cosy and elegant. I had a very relaxing time sitting and working by the fireplace, hanging around in the different spaces and enjoying the nature in the area. Since the house is located a bit far from supermarkets and commercial centres, it was very good that I had my car with me. This was a great experience, I'm already missing Sutherland snuggles. I would absolutely do it again.
If you're planning on house-sitting for Pat and Jack, you're in luck! They were so generous and accommodating during our stay, providing us with thorough care instructions for their house and their sweet dog, Abbey. We found their house to be not only beautiful but also very convenient for exploring the area and trying out many awesome local restaurants. Plus, the train station is just a short walk away, which made getting around a breeze. As for Abbey, she is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She's gentle and very low maintenance, making it easy to care for her. All in all, our experience with Pat and Jack was amazing, and we would definitely house-sit for them again without any hesitation.
Tina & Mark are so friendly and welcoming, and their three dogs are so well behaved and full of character that it is impossible not to love them. Thank you for such a brilliant stay in a fabulous home!
Belle is simply a loving bundle of fun. Super excited to go with me on a walk everyday, but also happy to just chill and curl up with me as I read or worked on my computer. Her parents (Alison and Mark) are lovely and made me feel very welcomed. Fabulous newly renovated bathroom and probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in for years. Great communication, and a lovely well-mannered healthy Great Dane. High recommendations from me.
Taking care of Ozzie was a dream!! He's such a funny cat with lots of personality. We mostly just co-exhisted as I worked remotely from the apartment and would gets bursts of energy so I played with him then. The apartment itself is beautiful, Olivia gave me all the information I needed, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler in the area/building. Would recommend this sit in a heartbeat!!
