Jay was so great. My dog was happy when I came home and Jay was a good communicator. He also left my place neat and that’s always a plus.
We had a great time looking after the very cutie Minnie for Fritha and Steve at Streatham Hill. They were very generous hosts arranging a taxi to collect us from our nearby B&B to take us to their lovely home, provided a gift of wine for us to enjoy and arranging a dog walker on one day so we could have a day out exploring London. Fritha provided a clear welcome guide and gave us a good tour of her spacious home on our first morning, so everything was easy during our stay. We had a large bedroom with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage and a separate bathroom. The house had good heating and a well stocked kitchen. The cleaner came in once during our stay which enabled us to have a longer outing exploring. Minnie was a real character and very loving. She let us know each day when it was walk time and was keen to get going to the nearby common to play with the other dogs and say hello to everyone. On Fritha's advice we didn't let her off the lead which meant she did pull a bit in her excitement but being so small she was easy to manage. She was very good at following commands and was excellent when we took her on the bus. She introduced us to the local cafe where she loved to say hello to the locals. She slept soundly at night in her crate downstairs. She was such a loving little dog who we enjoyed being with very much. We were able to leave Minnie for four hours to go out exploring the many shops, cafes & bars on the Streatham High Road, a few minutes walk from the house. This is the longest high street in Europe at 2.8km and there is plenty to see, including some old churches and Streatham Common at the other end. Public transport was excellent with many buses and trains close by. A trip in to central London took around 40 minutes from the front door. This was a fabulous sit which we can highly recommend to other sitters. We would definitely come back if the opportunity arose.
It was a great pleasure looking after Carly and the three chickens in Newport for two weeks! Donna and Craig made me feel very welcome in their cozy home. They are wonderful hosts and I enjoyed meeting them. They also have a beautiful garden with lots of vegetables. Carly is a well behaved dog with a loving character who enjoyed our walks twice a day. She likes being close to her humans and loves playing in the garden with her toys. It was fun to care for the chickens too and discover their personalities. I had a great time in Newport. Thank you so much for having me, Donna and Craig!
We had a wonderful time looking after Nikki and Luna! Nikki is a happy and playful dog. She really enjoys being around people. Luna is the prettiest and cutest cat who also likes playing and cuddling. They are both very friendly and easy to handle. Ana and Fernando were great hosts! They were very kind to us. Their apartment is very comfortable and well located in Lugano. A real paradise close to the lake and the mountains. It would be a pleasure to be back soon!
Thank you Mike & Tessa for making our stay so enjoyable. Sitting for Ralphie was both easy and fun. She is a delightful cat but very suspicious at first. You have to be patient to gain her trust. She would accompany us around the house and loved to plant herself near by. They have created a lovely environment for her with plenty of toys. They made caring for her very easy and communication was great! The house has everything you could need, games, books, TV with plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and the house is tidy, neat, and clean with a very comfortable guest room. They also have great work spaces if you are on your computer much of the day. We would happily return and highly recommend you jump on this opportunity when it comes up again.
Had a great time watching their two dogs and cat. They have a wonderful house and live in a nice neighborhood, with plenty of things to do nearby. The guest room that I stayed in was wonderful and I was able to use their kitchen and make breakfast and lunch everyday. I hope to get another call to come up and sit. I hope everything is well and thanks again for a wonderful time
We had a fantastic experience house sitting for Rebecca. The animals were easy to take care of and so much fun. Things were well stocked and organized and she was very responsive when we had questions. Her house happens to be in a great location, which was an extra perk.
