Zoe arrived the afternoon before I left so we had about 24 hours together so that she could spend time with Maggie and get to know her. We were able to do a couple of walks together so Zoe got to know the area better. During my time away Zoe kept me updated with photos and messages which was really great as I knew Maggie was being cared for. On my return as agreed Zoe had left as she had to move on to her next sit. What I found in the house was a very clean house and a very happy dog. Zoe please come back again and I know we will meet up again soon when you are back in Milford which I know Maggie would love too.
I am sorry to have to write this review for Megan as it was overall not a positive experience. Megan is highly communicative and needs a lot of support-- I thought she was being conscientious and thoughtful. She told me she broke a crystal vase and glass (blamed the cat for the glass). She got locked out (we paid for a locksmith) and i felt she was rather demanding in her text messages. Very little respect for our schedules or how her tone may come across. Not realizing these were not the ONLY issues I told her not to worry about it-- Then we returned home and found nearly EVERY appliance she used was put back dirty. She broke all the crystal highball glasses from our wedding, yet lined them up nicely on the shelf. We have noticed some towel sets missing and many things about the house have been moved around/ and we believe some things to just be missing. Nearly all our wine glasses were put back dirty into our cabinet, all our hand soap, laundry detergent, body soap, shampoo olive oil-- you name it were used almost entirely. The house was clear of her things but it was filthy. Towels were clearly folded after being used and placed as if they were clean, sheets were not washed -- although she verified all linens were cleaned and left the comforter in the dryer. I do not believe this person knows how to care for a home and the lack of respect for our things was rather apparent. I do think she took care of our cat and for that we are thankful. However, home owners I would exercise caution if you are allowing her to live in your space. I am very disappointed and feel extremely taken advantage of after this stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Melissa - Ruby took to her immediately and became her shadow for the rest of the weekend, I think she's still missing her! Melissa was so easy to have in the house, it felt like an old friend coming to stay, we felt very comfortable leaving her in charge when we went away. Ruby was beautifully looked after, we couldn't ask for more and hope that Melissa will come back another time!
It was a pleasure taking care of Kitana and Bulma. They are the sweetest dogs and listened very well. The house was in perfect state and the area was very enjoyable. I did not meet Luciene unfortunately, but she was very nice and the communication ran very smoothly!
