He has a lovely nature, and he loves a cuddle too. The house is perfect for a sit, as it has everything you need and is a short walk into Warwick. Hi Ellen and Hans ! It sure did hurt a bit to leave your little piece of paradise that you have created in l'Isle-en-Dodon. Fifi and Zhi Zhou were easy to take care of. They were pretty independent and very lovely. From time to time they slept beside me or spent the night on the bed. The old house is gorgeously renovated and fits like a glove. I felt very at ease there. Your kitchen is a piece of heaven for those who like to cook and bake, like I do. So I made with great pleasure my meals in the oven and baked my own sourdough bread. On the day of my arrival you welcomed me with a dinner of three courses and enough wine to make it a joyful evening full of stories about your work and journeys around the globe. I was also lucky with the weather in February. The first days it looked like spring or even summer. I thoroughly enjoyed being outside this often and long in a winter month. I made several walks in the surrounding area through the beautiful landscape of the Haute-Garonne. I highly recommend this sit to other people who like the countryside and do not feel lonely too quickly. But in fact I hope very much to be back in l'Isle-en-Dodon sooner rather than later. :-)
Eva is a lovely hostess - easy to communicate with, left everything clean and organized, and is very kind. Her home is beautiful and so is the area. If you get a chance to stay here, I highly recommend it!
This was just the best! Beautiful, light, airy, spotless house and a wonderful large cottage garden. Camilla and Peter were very welcoming and explained everything. Camilla was also very communicative with messages and we chatted before the sit. The very best part was undoubtedly Bertie and Edie who are just so adorable. They may be little but they have huge personalities and they were both extremely well behaved and always up for fun and cuddles. We enjoyed some lovely walks on the Maer and along the cost at Exmouth which is only 10 minutes walk from the house and on my last day we had a lovely afternoon in Bicton Gardens. The dogs travelled well in the car and were admired by all! This sit was perfect and I really hope I get to meet this lovely family again. Many thanks.
I really enjoyed my sit with Ned and Effy they were both very sweet though Ned was quite shy at the beginning but warmed up quite quickly despite my short stay. Sav was a great communicator, she explained everything very well and was always reachable throughout the sit. The house was really lovely and I felt very at home. I would definitely recommend this sit and would be very happy to return in the future.
Evan and Shari are very personable and a highly organized couple. Upon arrival, they explained all the details on what I was expected to do and showed me where everything was to accomplish the pet-sitting task. Their guest room was clean and comfortable. Their two dogs were cute and affectionate, and were a joy to be with. I had the pleasure of meeting their neighbors and their dogs and spent a lot of time watching all the dogs playing together. It was a very rewarding sitting experience, with great hosts, great dogs and great quarters.
