Susan took care of my pets and house like they were her own and provided regular updates on how my cats were doing.

Kate and Elliot were wonderful. they arrived on time and we introduced them to the cats and the house. I had prepared a folder of everything they needed to know plus lots of info on what to do in Devon, so we went through that. then left two total strangers in our home, with our pets for three weeks, We needn't have worried. Elliot sent regular updates and photos of the cats and we could see that everything was fine. We returned to a tidy house, a lovely note, and two contented and unfazed cats. We can't thank Kate and Elliot enough.

Overall, Hea did a sufficient job caring for our cat and home. Kitty seemed healthy and content, and the house was in good condition. However, this experience helped us refine our preferences for future sits. Hea shares a profile with Nicholas, but it appears she is the one handling the sits. Despite our inquiries, the details of their shared profile and arrangement remained unclear. In terms of organization, she had some mix-ups with dates and arrival times during pre-visit communication that required clarification, which she attributed to managing multiple sits and tracking many details. Although we provided the welcome guide in advance at her request, she still asked us to write down instructions for the cat’s medications and asked questions covered in the guide, later mentioning that she hadn’t yet reviewed it upon arrival. For reliability, Hea honored her travel commitments, but communication about the cat was inconsistent. Updates were irregular, sometimes necessitating us initiating them, and were fairly general (e.g., "doing well, ate well, spending time outside"). While she had assured us she was familiar with sending regular updates, in hindsight, we should have been more specific about our expectations. She also experienced an issue with her phone charger, which required her to switch to another phone and may have contributed to the lapses in communication. Regarding self-sufficiency, Hea requested to arrive the night before, which is common for some sits, and needed assistance with travel logistics. Per her request, we provided rides to and from the train station, helped with how to purchase a ticket, and assisted with her luggage. Despite volunteering for a sit far from her home, she expressed concerns about the cost and logistical challenges of public transportation, which we tried to accommodate by offering additional assistance, including a trip to the grocery store. On the plus side, Hea left our home in good condition—counters were clean, the trash was taken out, and the dishwasher was run. She was respectful of our space and kept everything tidy. For pet care, Kitty appeared happy and healthy upon our return, and Hea mentioned spending a lot of time at home, which likely helped our cat feel less lonely. She explained that she preferred to defer to the cat's wishes rather than initiate interaction, despite our guidance to engage more directly with her. Overall, Hea took good care of our home and cat, and we were satisfied with the sit. For future homeowners, we recommend being clear about your expectations for communication, updates, and any assistance with travel arrangements or transportation.

Sameen and Rohan were reliable. I felt Gracie was in good hands. All of the pet's needs were met. Plus, Gracie, our lab, had developed improved eating habits when we returned (she was always a picky eater and she was eating regularly when we returned!). They work remotely in the morning and have afternoon and evening to focus even more on the pets. Our cats, usually shy, seemed at ease. Our house was clean and their room was tidy with the bed re-made with freshly washed bedding . Thank you Sameen and Rohan

Daniel was reliable and on time. When I came home, my pets were cared for properly and my house was in order. I would always invite him back.

Jacob arrived right on schedule so that I could introduce him to Cooper and show him the in's and out's. He sent daily videos or photos. He walked Cooper, even though Cooper is a bit anxious and reactive to other animals. He washed all sheets and towels, remade the bed and communicated such with me. Would be happy for Jacob to watch Cooper again.

We are so grateful we found Rohafa & Haithem to house sit for us. We were away for 5 weeks, which is a very long time with so many animals, some of them older and needing extra attention. I was worried about it all summer, but after talking to Rohafa & Haithem and meeting them in person before our trip, we felt confident that our menagerie was in good hands. When we returned, all the dogs and cats were calm and content and the house was in great order. During the trip we had good communication and were able to troubleshoot some minor issues that came up. I am happy I decided to look for a housesitter through zeewoi.

Rocky is a formerly feral cat and as I suspected, he was cautious and would not let Janessa near him. He didn’t run out of the house (he has a cat door) as he did with a prior sitter, but stayed in the same room with Janessa. He trusted her and stayed in the house most of the time during the sit. The last prior sit he stayed outside the whole time. Janessa was quick to respond to any questions we had and she needed very little further assistance from us during the sit. We were able to enjoy our honeymoon thanks to Janessa’s handling of Rocky. Janessa washed linens she used and left the house clean and in order.

Alicia took time to get acquainted with our pet dog and to make her feel comfortable. By the time we left our usually anxious pet, she did not even look at us and, instead, focused on Alicia. It was a relief and a pleasure to have Alicia become our very first ever TrustedHousitter, as she unburdened us with her calm and kind demeanor, evident familiarity caring for a pet dog and everything else we got to know about her during our “meet and greet” time and orientation to our pet, home and the information binders we left for her. We are grateful for Alicia and feel fortunate to have found her through zeewoi!

As I said previously, Donavan and Sophie are excellent petsitters/housesitters. This was the second time they sat for me and they were just as fabulous as the first time. I would have them sit every time, if they were available. My pets were perfectly content when I returned and my house was immaculate. What more could I want? They are a lovely, responsible couple who genuinely love animals. I'm so grateful for their care of my fur babies.

Molly was a pleasure to have in my home. She was attentive to my dogs, Kona and Carson. Molly communicated and sent pictures of my chickens and dogs. She handled our current "heat wave" 114 degrees with ease. I welcome her back anytime. Mary
