I feel really fortunate to have found Stephen as a first time sitter. He's a musician and, importantly, keeps the house full of music clearly making better use of the piano than I do myself. He seems very attracted to the quirky nature of my house and has been making himself useful in the neighborhood. He stays in touch and has exhibited the elasticity of availability that my sometimes odd schedule requires. I've arrived back to find the house cleaner than I've ever seen it and now I'll have to check his bags for a lovingly spoiled cat.
Sitting for Mark & Beau and looking after Manny was such a great experience. Mark & Beau are really lovely, really accommodating hosts and made sure we felt really safe and welcome in their home, responding whenever we got in touch and just generally being really great! Manny, is quite literally one of the loveliest dogs we've ever met! Manny is super easy to look after and a really lovely friendly dog. It was so sad to say bye to him! The house is in a great area walking distance from everything you need, including the great Woodbine beach which is a real treat, so you can be down at the water a few times a day if you fancy! We would recommend looking after Manny for Beau & Mark to anyone - you'll feel safe and comfortable and loved by Manny, and then a little bit broken hearted when its time to leave!
This was a lovely sit in the heart of Hillsdale. Haley the cat greeted me when I arrived and took me on a quick tour of her queendom. First, her catio! She is very proud of her outdoor gym and showed me how she could balance and jump from one level to the next. While I was there, she sometimes asked me to come outside and watch her while she played. Jane and David were thoughtful hosts who communicated well and provided a welcome guide that gave me all the information I needed. They made me feel welcome and at home. There was an unexpected weather event during the sit, and I was grateful to be able to have the help of the emergency contacts Jane and David had provided. They provided support and community during what was a challenging time for us all. I loved everything about this sit. Haley became a good friend, and I'd be happy to care for her again.
I had a really wonderful time sitting for Diane. We video chatted before the sit so I knew what to expect, and when I arrived their son was able to show me around the house and explain everything in person. Sparky was such a sweetheart! He loved going for walks around the neighborhood and he sat next to me when I worked from home. He was sometimes a little barky (hence his name!) but he was easily distracted with a game of fetch or by sitting next to me on the couch. He also has a bark collar that he doesn't mind wearing. At night, he slept in the bed with me and woke up when I did. The house itself was lovely, with an open floor plan, ample kitchen counter space, and a beautiful view of the mountains from the back deck. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet and I even met a few of the neighbors during my sit. 5/5 would recommend!
Our stay at Herve's farm was amazing! We were very comfortable and we were able to share some time with Hervé who is very kind. We really enjoyed taking care of Moka, she is an adorable dog, very tender and friendly who was always close to us and was the best company at home and for visiting the beautiful medieval villages nearby, this was possible because Hervé lent us his car, which we appreciate. We also had the opportunity to harvest tomatoes and Zucchini from the garden and it was a nice experience, plus we could use them for cooking and they were really good!!!! We took Moka in our hearts and we will never forget her, the tranquility and the beautiful view all around with stone houses. Thank you so much Hervé
This was a great sit! The house is in a great location and it was super clean and comfortable. Ashley and Todd are super nice and it was very easy to coordinate with them. Durango is a great town and I am very glad I got to spend time there. Frankie is the sweetest dog with a very fun personality. She was very good on our walks and at night she would could up next to me. Highly recommend this sit and hope to be back in Durango at some point myself!
Great housesit with Kitty in a clean, comfortable flat in an ideal part of Amsterdam. Communication with Courtney was easy and everything went very smoothly. Kitty is a sweet and sociable cat.
