Sitting for Tierney was lovely. She was generous enough to invite me to stay with the family a day early to get to know everyone, including the pets and their routines. She also shared many great recommendations for the area. This was hugely helpful and I felt instantly welcomed. The trio of pets were a joy! June is young, energetic, and such a sweet dog. She loves a healthy balance of hikes and naps. She doesn't love a leash but she is generally well trained with a buzz collar for hikes and the epic Carmel beach. This is definitely not a sit to leave the dog at home all day, and luckily Carmel and the surrounding area are very dog-friendly. Mango the cat would say hi daily but generally spent his time exploring on his own. And Clover the chameleon! Such a cool pet and easy to care for. Feeding him collard greens and seeing his changing colors was mesmerizing. You can't beat the location of Tierney's home, truly easy access to both beaches and mountains. Such a calm, quiet place while being conveniently located to anything you need. The house itself is beautiful and the view (especially at sunrise) is lovely. Bonus: she has a great work from home set up too. Highly recommend!
Thank you Mickey and Jim for your amazing reference. We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay with your fur babies, Magee and Blues. We have some many wonderful memories of our time with them and lots of photos too. Magee and Blues stole our hearts – so loving with great personalities and were perfect company for us – from their crazy excitement for outside time or when we came home, to our daily chill outs on the front or back grass, belly rubs, bath times and taking selfies. You both made us feel so welcome from our very 1st skype session with you, it was like we had known you for ages already. Your house and pet sitting and the local area manual was very thorough and a handy reference for us. (Loved your recommendation of Einstein Bagels – amazing!) It was so very generous of you to allow us to borrow your van too. Super handy to use to pop to the supermarket and visit the malls and wonderful beaches. Your home was wonderful and comfortable, a home away from home and had everything one could need. We enjoyed being able to spend time with you both before and after our THS experience, getting to know you, sharing stories and meeting some of your family members and neighbours too. We were even lucky enough to watch your talented grandson play in a Little League game and be invited to celebrate the 4th July with your family whilst you were away too. Such genuine and welcoming THS home and fur baby owners – thank you for such a wonderful stay in San Diego. Thanks to our THS experience we have made another wonderful friendship across the waters. Hoping we will be able to visit again in the future. x

I had a wonderful time in Julie’s secluded home tucked away in the magical mountains of Topanga! Albi can be a little shy in the beginning but will warm up to you with time, gentle strokes and treats. Toulouse loves some cuddles especially in bed. I went to the trail nearby and the nature is just so captivating. Parking was easy. There are many steps to walk down to the house so I highly recommend to pack light! Overall a perfect get away and peaceful time with the kitties! Julie is super sweet and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend this sit! 🫶🧚🏽♀️
