Fantastic house & pet sit. A wonderful location in a magical part of Scotland! Ted & Waffle are a joy to care for, great company on lots of long walks and enjoy cuddles on the couch. The house is very comfortable with everything you would need. Bridget & Fraser are very kind hosts who made sure we had a great time throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
Alison and John have a beautiful home in a gated community, close to everything you could possible need. The highlight though were the pets. Tilly is an absolute sweetheart, full of love and energy. She loves to play with her ball and is an expert soccer player, the best dog with a ball we've ever seen. Ebony is also a lovely soul and also very affectionate once she gets to know you. Cleo keeps mostly to herself but none of them are any trouble at all. Tilly just loves the beach and we were very happy to take her there most days. A wonderful experience and highly recommended.
Moxxie, Frida, Franky and of course Chuck are such great animals and we have taken them all into our hearts! We spent 10 days with them and really enjoyed our time together. The dogs got used to us incredibly quickly and never left our side. They were very happy to go for walks. Although they pull a little on the leash, but with two people it was no problem. Frida loves to play with the ball and Moxxie demands her cuddles very sweetly, especially in the morning. Franky always wants to be right at the front and is a very sweet guy who also likes to have a nap on your lap. It was our first time looking after a ferret, but it was great fun and very uncomplicated. Chuck is a funny little fellow and has a lot of fun running around the house. All together the pet care is very easy. We felt very comfortable in Jamey and Ashley's house from the very first moment we arrived. There really is everything you need and it is very clean. The housekeeper comes twice a week. The kitchen in particular is great if you like to cook for yourself. The house is very large, comfortably furnished, with cool entertainment options and there is a great garden. It is quietly located in a very good residential area. The easiest way to get into the city is by Uber. To take the bus, you need a Qrobus card from the city center in advance, which can be topped up with money (these buses do not accept cash). However, the timetables are not easy to understand and you have to change buses (first bus lines 158 and 159 are 2 minute walk from the house). There are small stores selling fruits, vegetables and tortillas in the surrounding area and also some restaurants. There is also a large mall with lots of stores and a large supermarket (30 minutes on foot and 10 minutes by car). Or you can simply order your groceries via Uber. The communication with Jamey was super nice and very uncomplicated. We did a personal handover at the beginning and were able to clarify all questions directly. If we had any queries in the meantime, Jamey always replied directly. The tasks are very well explained and uncomplicated. There is a welcome guide with all the important information and even tips for the surrounding area - thank you for that 😊 We really enjoyed our housesit here and wish Jamey, Ashley, their children and of course all the animals all the best!
I loved my time with Zola, Gracie, and Uno! They’re very well-behaved, well-trained, and they love to relax and cuddle. Uno spent a lot of time inside with me during the day because it was a bit rainy while I was there, and he always slept next to or on top of me. They were so easy to take care of and it was hard to leave them. Lisa and Phil are awesome - very communicative and considerate and their home is lovely. Their instructions were very clear, and they labeled the food/treats/eyedrops and left them out for me. (Zola takes the eyedrops very easily - it took no more than 5 seconds to give them to her each morning.) They made sure I had everything I could have needed, and their house is in a great location close to highways and Bishop Arts, but still a peaceful neighborhood. If you enjoy cooking, you’ll love their kitchen! I highly recommend sitting for Lisa and Phil if you have the opportunity! I really enjoyed my time and would happily sit there again.
