If you get an opportunity to have Wim & Edy stay and look after your fur babies and home do not miss the chance; they are by their very nature amongst two of the kindest, gentlest people we have met through zeewoi in fact it is fair to say, ever. Our dogs, Crazy Maisie and Ollie Dog, immediately took to their kindness and warmth and were very relaxed and happy in their company. The dogs have most certainly missed them since they left. Their beautiful, gentle dog Pomme joined them during the sit and despite Maisie being a young playful pup, Pomme tolerated her very well and they all enjoyed walks together. Communication was always clear between us and they responded promptly with any questions we had. They sent regular photos and updates of the dogs something I found very reassuring. The house was immaculate on our return and everything was in its place or as we left it. We even had a beautiful apple & raisin tart baked for us to share when we got home. I cannot rate this Wim and Edy highly enough. They are a very thoughtful and exceptionally interesting and talented couple - hearing about Wim's ink pen craft out of ancient wood and Edy's charity work and art work was fascinating. Our lives have most certainly been enriched by meeting them. We very much hope to keep in contact with them and will most certainly use them again. We are so grateful that zeewoi put us together with the delightful de Koning family. Initially we were concerned whether our house was sufficiently child-friendly - but Jacq and Paul's lovely daughters seem to have enjoyed their experience very much, and certainly bonded with the dogs! They are a wonderful couple and we felt totally confident leaving everything in their capable hands - even when the boiler blew up they saved the day, and everything in the freezer too! All the animals had obviously been very well cared for - especially the dogs who will miss all the fuss the girls gave them - I hope they will be able to come for another visit, even if they're not housesitting! We exchanged Whatsapp messages and photographs while we were away and it was lovely to see how well they were getting on. We have been very lucky to have such excellent housesitters, and hopefully we can also consider them to be our friends as well.

Lina was a fantastic pet-sitter for my cat! She sent me daily updates with many photos, which allowed me to rest easy and enjoy my vacation. Lina was also able to administer oral medication, which was extremely helpful. Clean, reliable, and thoughtful, I would definitely recommend her!

We were delighted to have Denis & Tabea pet sit for us & use our house as a base to explore London over Easter. We returned to a lovely clean house and healthy happy cat & dog. Carla was very self-sufficient and took good care of the house while we were away. Sadly for me and luckily for Carla, she wasn't required to do all that was required for a sick cat as Cassius had passed away just before her stay. My sourdough starter is still alive and the garden is in decent shape -- I know it is hard to eat/pick that many raspberries and beans! I'm pleased the chalet was in good hands while we were away. Our sit at Clarissa’s English cottage in a tropical setting was a delight in all aspects. Clarissa was welcoming and shared everything we needed to make the sit comfortable. She made her car available to us and this with the convenience of a bus stop outside the house made getting out and about easy. Winnie the dog was happy and affectionate and we certainly enjoyed bonding with her. The cats were cats, deciding when and if we were worthy of their time. The house location was very convenient to all of the island. We would recommend a sit at Clarissa’s without question.

What a pleasure it was meeting the Borders and staying with their sweet boy, Bodie! Vanda and Bryan are so sweet and were very welcoming. Communication was easy, great instructions were left for taking care of the house and Bodie and the neighborhood/house are very nice. Bodie is a lovebug and I enjoyed my time with him. He was my shadow for a few days and I loved his company. He loves his walks and ball throwing but also was so calm when I had to work during the day. I highly recommend this housesit to anyone who wants to spend time with a sweet boy in a beautiful place!

I had a lovely time at Max’s home in Walthamstow. The house is quiet, on a pretty block, and close to public transit. The guest room is on the top floor with a lovely updated bathroom and a very comfortable bed. 

The two cats, Cocoa and Oscar, are easy and mellow. Cocoa is the shyer of the too, but we bonded instantly and she was my shadow for the whole of my stay. Oscar is a handsome charmer and greeted me at my bedroom door each morning asking for a belly rub before breakfast. The feeding and littler routines were simple and straightforward. 

Max was a laid back host and was truly a delight to interact with. I would absolutely housesit for he and his family again.

Thank you Ted for allowing us to care for your two lovely cats Bodie and Willow and making us comfortable in your home during our stay.  Your cats were very friendly and playful, and extremely easy to care for.  The location was wonderful, close to several miles of beaches, a nice marina, hiking trails and a few really good restaurants.  Jose and I enjoyed walking the quaint downtown main street in Half Moon Bay.  Lots to do nearby and walkability a huge plus.
