Sitting for Sanhita was very nice! Ernest is very lovely and cuddly. We had some amazing days at Sanhitas place with Ernest. The location is perfect because the PATH is just a 10 min walk away. The rooftop was amazing! We can definitely recommend sitting for Sanhita!
Good location, but was a challenge breaking the pets in to a brand new home with such limited space. Only one bedroom & the kitchen & small bathroom was available to use. The rest of apartment closed off. No office, lounge, tv, or second bedroom was available. Pets were agitated with limited space. Windows were not able to be opened either, as no screens & the cats would try to escape. Became very stuffy for everyone. Garden, patio outdoor area listed is only communal. Communication was not great ~ I was asked to provide regular updates. I gave 3 separate updates in the first 6 days. I then received an agitated message that I was not contacting enough. Only after a week of sitting, was the expectation of sending daily updates mentioned.
Janette was very helpful before during and after the sit. She maintained contact and though not available when I arrived we had the chance to meet. The animals were all easy to care for and one of the cats - cat cow became my regular companion. The location is peaceful though not isolated. Great stay happy to sit again.
I had such a lovely time in Newnham, the house, area was beautiful and Parsnip was a delight to look after, she has such a sweet playful personality and no trouble at all. Jane was friendly, clear and very detailed in her instructions so that made it easy to understand Parsnips needs and routine/ walks, she was also easily reachable by text to answer any questions throughout my stay. The house was clean tidy and cosy, lovely views from the bedroom window over the countryside, a characterful stone cottage. There was also a lovely big garden and Jane allowed me to eat fresh vegetables from the allotment, what a treat :) The local area has plenty of walks and great views over rolling hills. All in all this was a lovely peaceful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this sit.
Belinda and Sean offered us such a warm welcome and are very thorough with all that needed to be done with Taco and the chickens. Their home is so clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden area to enjoy. Bed is comfortable and everything is easy to find. Now Taco, their cat, is the sweetest cat in the world. He is independent during the day and snuggles on your lap, beside you and up over head on the back of the couch each evening. He lets you know when he needs something and is very quiet when he is fed. Belinda and Sean are great -- and if you have a chance to sit for them don't hesitate. We hope to see them again next year when we are back in the area. Thank you for having us.
I had a lovely time sitting with Lottie and Skye! They are well-behaved with good recall off-lead. Both love a cuddle and a play, and respond reasonably well to the commands, "Wait" and "Sit." Being country dogs who have adjusted to village life, they have lots of energy and aren't afraid to chat to anyone passing by. They will both steal your heart! Sue's home is cosy and quirky. It is well-located (close to Cambridge) and easily accessible by car. There are some great walks on your doorstep, including a historical village trail. Sue was a kind and welcoming host who had dinner prepared for me on the first night and was able to show me around before leaving the next day on her adventures. I would love to sit here again and highly recommend this stay.
