Maro and Tuna are both so charming, Tuna being very curious and outgoing and Maro a bit shy in the beginning. Tuna has lots of energy and loves to play with the variety of cat toys available. Once Maro got used to us he became affectionate and wanted to stay nearby. We lived comfortably in the apartment which is very nice, in a great location. Sharla made sure we had everything we needed and explained well how to care for the cats. She took the time to meet up with us before, and kept in touch during the sit, answering any questions we had. Thank you Sharla for letting us stay with your wonderful cats! We will miss them~
If you are looking for the ultimate in welcome and kindness on the part of hosts, look no further than Angie and Craig! From start to finish we were made to feel so wanted and appreciated that it made it even more of a joy to integrate into the home and treat their cats as though we were their 'parents'. This was easy to do, and the special 'furbabies' endeared themselves to us in no time at all. Every part of the sit was more than we could ask for...the pets, the hosts, the setting, the privileges afforded, the pool (it was a hot three weeks), the ability to enjoy the garden, the sunsets, and on and on. I hope you have the joy of staying in this home and taking care of adorable cats while giving peace of mind to Angie and Craig.
We loved looking after Bryher & Moss for a week. Both are incredibly easy going. Bryher is very well trained and good off lead. They were some lovely walks nearby, with Blaise estate within walking distance. Harriet also gave good recommendations for further afield. Bryher loved a snuggle in the evening and we would love to sit for her again! Moss kept us entertained by drinking from the tap- we eventually found optimal flow rate for her! Harriet was very communicate and had an excellent handover sheet. House was beautiful, spacious and comfortable with good amenities nearby.
Sitting for Kathy was easy, comfortable and fun! We felt right at home (she even offered us some delicious vegetarian pasta on our first night as we got in pretty late). Her house was cozy and very clean, and all the pets were a joy in their own special way: Marley, playful and hilarious. Joey, outgoing and curious. Max, shy and so sweet. We loved taking Marley out to the many dog-friendly places in San Diego, and cuddling up with all of them at night. We communicated with Kathy with ease throughout our sit. All in all, a wonderful experience!
Rochel & I spent a fun week at Lara and Jose’s house. They made sure we felt comfortable and were available every time we had a question. Lucy and Buster are such well behaved dogs. Lucy is caring and will follow you everywhere and I mean everywhere lol. Buster is also caring and funny. He loves head scratch and his snacks. We would love to housesit for Lara and Jose in the future.
