Ella is a very quiet and chill dog,so she was super easy to take care of. We were enjoying our relaxing long walks around a lake and belly rubs at home. The petparents are also very lovely, easy going and welcoming people with whom we would have loved to spend more time together and chat about life. Lastly,the apartment was nice,cozy and with a very comfortable bed. Good night sleep is guaranteed! It is located 20min by car from Riga center. You can either use a Bolt taxi or Citybee car sharing services (we even went for one of Ella's walks to the beach with Citybee). Alternatively,you can also go by bus to the center but it takes quite some time,around 40min.
Alex was the most amazing host, making us a wonderful lunch on arrival spending time with us and showing us around. We felt so very welcome. Doris is an absolute delight, so fun and loving . What an amazing sit in Alex’s beautiful home so much more yet to explore in this AONB, we will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
Nicole made our first house sit using Trusted Housesitters such a positive experience! She provided a super detailed and helpful welcome guide for us, and was always quick and informative whenever we had questions. We absolutely loved caring for Henry, Zoey and the little marine animals during our stay in Bangkok. Zoey is an absolute delight and we spent many hours enjoying playing with her and her favourite toys. Henry is just adorable, with the sweetest, softest fur and we loved watching him run around in his pen and feeding him coriander stalks. The apartment is super modern, bright and comfortable. We even got to join in the Songkran festivities with their awesome water guns! :) Thanks to Nicole and Bryan for a fantastic first house sit experience!
We loved spending a week looking after Clemmie and Peanut, they were such a dream to look after, so adorable and well behaved, both in the house and out on walks in the local area too. Bagpipes the alpaca was really sweet and easy to care for too and we enjoyed our visits down to see him. Andrew and Charlotte were wonderful hosts, great communication before and during the sit. Their home is lovely, clean and comfortable and the garden and grounds are beautiful. Thanks so much for having us, we highly recommend this sit and hope we can come and sit again in the future! :-)
We had a lovely time with Molly and Rosie. They are both very sweet, loving girls who appreciate your company. Rosie is a complete love bug and a gentle spirit. Molly is still working out her puppy energy, so she needs good exercise and a bit of patience, whenever she had a good long walk, she calmed down and was content. Kathleen and Jed's home is conveniently set in Kapa Point with lots of calm neighborhood streets for walking and easy access to Fort Townsend state park. They have a great view to the east with some beautiful sunrises. The house has everything you could possible need. Highly recommended...
Lauren has a beautiful home surrounding by a cute garden and lots of plants. She was easy to communicate with and very friendly. Her house was clean and very cozy. Shona was an absolute delight. He is super cuddly and loves head scratches. He will talk to you to let you know he wants attention! He likes playing with his candy cane and laser light. He will curl up right next to you while you are sitting. Highly recommend this sit. In a very cute area too with lots of hiking!
