Kendra was a wonderful sitter. She took great care of my girls. Unfortunately Junebug hurt a dewclaw shortly before the sit, and Kendra was so helpful and willing to keep it clean and wrapped and keep an eye on her so she wouldn’t look at it. Since this was unexpected, I really appreciated it and she went above and beyond. My home was clean and taken care of as well! I work out of town and so I live between two homes and it gets hectic so I forgot one of the collars and a leash, on a couple of their favorite toys, but we made it work! I recommend Kendra and i would be happy to have her come and sit again!
This was Harriet and Oskgar's first time hosting sitters and they did a great job! We were in the area so I dropped by the day before for a run down on the sit. All information we needed was provided, the flat was immaculate, and Wallis charmed my socks off. The flat is well located on the south side of Bristol, an easy walk to shopping and Ashton Court. There are plenty of great walks nearby so you'll find lots to keep you entertained. Wallis is the loveliest young lurcher. We expecting typical puppyish behaviour but were pleasantly surprised to find that Wallis is quiet, well behaved and amazingly mature for not yet reaching her first birthday. She walks beautifully on lead, is completely trustworthy with other dogs and even has pretty good recall (bring treats). In short, this was a terrific experience and we'd be very happy to hang out with Wallis again should dates align 😀
It was a pleasure to look after Moomin and Pixie, they are such sweet cats! Rosemary was in contact throughout and was very friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful and set in a very lovely village, perfect for some peace and quiet. I’d highly recommend this housesit. Thanks for having me!
Our stay in Istanbul was exceptional. It was our first time in Istanbul, and we didn't expect the city to be so wonderful; it was an unexpected discovery. Sarah and Pete are incredibly kind, flexible, and friendly people. In various sittings we've had, we've never experienced hosts as exceptionally kind as they were, they even pick us up from the airport. And then there are Kedi and Squeak, two exceptional cats we fell in love with. Kedi needed a few extra days to trust us, but even though she didn't have any issues receiving cuddles, she started seeking us out after a few days, joining us on the couch in the evenings, and became super affectionate. Squeak has been a treasure from the first evening. She's a cat who loves contact; whenever you sit down on the couch, she comes to snuggle up on you, and when you go to bed, she follows suit. During the day, if you're at the computer, she often jumps on the table and comes to you for a few cuddles, an exceptional cat. The house is very bright, and we had a great time there. It's located in the Emirgan neighborhood, a beautiful and calm area with stunning houses and a huge park to explore. From there, you can take a ferry on the river and be at all the tourist spots in Istanbul in about 40 minutes. Highly recommended stay; we hope to meet Sarah, Pete and their lovely cats again in the future.
Wow. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house sit. We all made immediate friends with Digby, who is the friendliest and most loving pup - an absolute joy to spend time with. He loved playing in the garden, was brilliant with the children and loved to sit with us when he was relaxing. The chickens were easy to look after and loved trotting around the garden - their eggs are delicious (thank you!) The home itself is such a gorgeous family space, Scott and Charlotte (and even their little one!) made us feel so welcome and gave us great detailed instructions before we even arrived. Our room was huge and had an en-suite and the comfiest beds. Our baby slept through the night for the first time ever so we are convinced this place is truly magical. Thank you Scott, Charlotte and E ♥️
Jennifer and Henry’s home was so lovely, as were they and their gorgeous dogs Remi & Bella. Really enjoyed looking after them!
Bruno was a lovely hound to spend time with. He absolutely loves chasing the ball, has lots of energy and enjoys a good stomp on the downs behind the house. Do be mindful of push bikes as he can get a little excited when he sees them! Louise was so lovely, excellent communication and the house is in a fantastic location just outside of Brighton centre with free (!) roadside parking! The bedroom was really comfortable and the kitchen is the kitchen of dreams. Thank you!
