Lauren and Ben are wonderful pet and home sitters. They were really flexible and met Buddy and I before our sit. We had a nice dog walk and they got a good feel for Buddy's personality and it was great to meet in person as well as have some zooms to go over house details that they diligently recorded. On the day we left, they were really considerate of our pre-trip scramble time and were here shortly after we left to be with Buddy. They cared for both our home and our pet like it was their own and sent us some fun updates of Buddy's antics during the week. We came home to a happy pet and reports from the neighbourhood that Buddy was out and about having fun. The house was cleaner than I left it! We were able to walk in the door and fall into bed after a long trip confident all was well while we were gone. Lauren and Ben are fun, caring pet sitters and a reliable couple. I am so glad we met and would not hesitate to recommend them.
Christine was our first house sitter with zeewoi-- and how blessed we are! Our dog Zoe thrived under her care-- although she is so happy to have us home, I can tell that she misses Christine and wants her to be part of our "pack" (if only she lived closer!). Zoe had lots of exercise, stimulation, attention and love. She actually seemed younger when we returned. Christine took meticulous care of our home- she left it clean with a lot of attention to detail (she even left some food in our freezer that she cooked for us to enjoy). It was also very satisfying for us to see how much Christine enjoyed our community-- she walked with Zoe in the redwoods and on the beaches, went whale watching on our bay, enjoyed the peaceful environment of our home and garden, met up with some friends we had introduced her to (she got high fives from them too!). We are all so grateful that Christine made the long journey from England to spend these two weeks with Zoe. Thank you Christine and zeewoi!
