Victoria and Jeffrey were absolutely wonderful - we genuinely couldn't have asked for better sitters. We had 2 calls with them before they came over, just to make sure they were happy and comfortable, and so they could ask any questions. On the phone it was like talking to old friends. We were quite nervous about leaving our newest cat because she hasn't had a great start in life, but it was such a weight lifted from our mind to know that Victoria and Jeff were looking after them and they weren't miserable in a cattery. The cats have told us that they had a lovely time, and were loved like family :) We received regular updates with photos and stories, so we knew they were absolutely fine. The house was so well taken care of - Jeff even mowed the lawn and did some weeding for us (sorry about the nettle sting!) When we returned the place was spotless (maybe cleaner than when we left actually!). Victoria even made us a jar of delicious homemade pesto! We can't recommend them highly enough as sitters - we'd be happy have you both here anytime.
Carolyn was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. She demonstrated to me the ins and outs of how to care for Holly and Jasmine, and provided me with a printed guidebook I could reference quickly. I enjoyed my time with Holly & Jasmine, especially our daily walks. The surrounding landscape is just picturesque and provides a wonderful place to retreat.
There were so many lovely things that made our first sit in the UK a wonderful one. A beautiful home in a lovely village surrounded by the most stunning landscape plus two adorable dogs Pippa and Jack. Our hosts Susanna and Colin were so organised, kind, helpful and only a phone call away where nothing was too much bother. Their daughter Holly helped settle us in and showed us the ropes. ⭐️ Pippa was a joy who every morning bought us a gift of a tea towel , or shoe and always came in from outside with a stone. Jack Mr personality who wants to protect you with his life out walking and then smooch with you on the couch as close as he can get. We will miss them both. Highly recommend this home as a house sit and hope ourselfs to pop back for a visit. 👍🌻
Paradise on the Lake with the Perfect Pack! Bob and Deb's lakeside house was an absolute dream! The location was stunning, right on the water with gorgeous views. But the true stars of the show were their amazing dogs, Bella, Annie, and Beau. These three pups are not only adorable, but they were so much fun to hang out with. The house itself was just as fantastic. It was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need and more, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Bob & Deb were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a truly wonderful house sitting experience.
This was absolutely amazing! Everyone that will have an opportunity to housesit here with lovely Bonnie, Anne and Peter will be blessed. Bonnie, the black lab is like the perfect dog. Cuddely, sweet, playful, extremely obedient - we just loved her and miss her already! We also had our dog Amarita with us and they became like sisters. Bonnie is the sweetest. Anne and Peter left us a full fridge with delicious home cooked food for arrival and also all kinds of food stocked to use and made us feel at home right away. The house itself is like a dream - in a national park, away from cars or society noice and close to the moores, where you can walk over beautiful fields. There is a picturous town, Helmsley, within 10 min drive where you find everything you need - delicious local food, and local stores. Within one hour drive you will find georgeous beachtowns and walks. Absolutely recommendable!!
Kathy, Don, and Rocky were absolutely wonderful! The best pet sit that I’ve experienced thus far. Rocky is a very sweet and calm dog. He was easygoing and slept most of the day. I miss him already! Kathy and Don are the friendliest, considerate, and relaxed home and pet owners. Communication was great with them! The home was clean, spacious, and peaceful. There was plenty of sunlight, which I loved. It is well equipped for cooking and working remotely. They allowed me to stay until my next dog sit, which I really appreciated. The home and location were perfect. I was able to enjoy beautiful sunsets on the deck and the lake with Rocky! I felt like I was on vacation! I highly recommend this sit and I would love to dog sit Rocky again!
