Sharon and her family have a beautiful, comfortable home in the Texas hill country, and Sharon has an impressively organized information sheet for the house and Bella, the kitty. They even took me out for dinner the evening before they left. The guest room was VERY comfortable, and the adjacent bathroom even had toiletries should I have needed them. I was introduced to the nearest neighbors; a very friendly couple who said to just call if I needed anything. Last but not least: Bella. A beautiful cat that I enjoyed being with for 3 weeks. She has a schedule and even lets you know when she is ready for bed. She was playful, enjoyed lounging in her box on the couch, and was an over all excellent kitty companion; so much so that I just wanted to bundle her up and take her with me! 😊 The area has some very nice restaurants, beautiful natural landscapes, and the whole sit was perfect.
Lizzie and Adrian were the perfects hosts. They gave us a very warm welcome, simple and easy handover, introduced us to the pet family and a very concise overview of the property.......and we were left home made cake! Tucker is an adorable Red fox lab along with Jonah who is a gorgeous black cat who loves company. Tucker is great on and off the lead, very good recall, loves being with you ,beautiful temperament and made us feel like he had known us for years ! The house is set in a stunning location along with a lake which we swan in on a daily basis to blow away the cobwebs. Walks through the woods and countryside from the door with views to die for. Regular visits from the local deer and a day could be taken up with bird watching with buzzards, kingfishers, Jays and woodpeckers all around. The village of Painswick is a few minutes drive, with great local pubs and food abound, for high street needs Cheltenham and Stroud are very local. What a sit, would be back in a heartbeat, another 5 star review !
Bandit is the sweetest dog in the whole world! We quickly became best buddies. He is great company -- will give you lots of snuggles and is super fun to play with. Rachel is a very considerate and kind host, she was great to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed! The house is in a beautiful neighbourhood -- I thoroughly enjoyed walking Bandit throughout the neighbourhood and taking him to the local parks. The home was very comfortable and overall the week went by way too fast, I had such a great time! Thanks for everything Rachel and Noah, I hope I can come back! I miss Bandit tons and I'm very thankful for the opportunity to stay with him :)
We had a lovely time sitting for Ray and Chris in Cape Paterson. The house is in a perfect location, walking distance from the beautiful beach and a lovely coffee shop. The stars of the show are however Arkie and Zena! They are the cutest dogs and so loveable. They were a bit wary of us at first but quickly warmed up to us, coming up for frequent cuddles! Be prepared that everyone will ask you what breed they are when out on a walk! We had the best time and would recommend this sit to others.
Webb was great to work with!! I really appreciated her communications, and responsiveness before and during the sit. She sent a thorough (but not overwhelming) set of instructions about Rusty and the house beforehand, and walked me through all of it when I got there. There were no surprises and it was all straightforward. The house is very comfortable and pleasant to stay in, with great light and art on the walls, a nice spacious kitchen, comfort bed, etc. Rusty is an easy going, gentle, sweet cat who likes to be petted, watches cat videos with rapt attention, and doesn't require too much guesswork. He was great company. I enjoyed my sit here!
I loved being able to take care of Lenore and Ethel. That were so low maintenance and Melissa’s place was so clean and cute! Would definitely sit for Melissa again!
