Pet Sitters in Sleepy Hollow, IL

What can I say? I feel so fortunate to have matched up with Kris and she set the bar high! Kris came for three days, two nights. She asked if she could come with a girlfriend for a relaxing reunion with a girlfriend since she was in the area with her husband visiting their son in SF. It sounded like a fair trade. Kris shared she had a large Great Dane so large strong dogs weren't a concern for her. She sent photos of Cal and Prim on the beach, on walks and in the shower. She was able to extend her stay for me since our flight was delayed and let me know she stayed long and took the pups on an evening walk and fed them their Sunday dinner. The towels and sheets she used were washed, dried AND folded and there was a lovely note on the counter welcoming me home. If I could, I would plan another trip around Kris's next visit! I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Kris!

It was a pleasure for Bill and I to have Daria take care of our golden doodle, Bentley. Daria was punctual and very friendly upon arrival. Bentley warmed up to Daria immediately! Daria is very reliable, trustworthy and honest. We felt very comfortable to have her stay at our home and sit for Bentley. While we were gone, Daria updated us with a couple of pictures of Bentley, and, also took him on a walk. This was the first time Bentley has had a sitter, and Daria’s calm and easy going personality made it an easy first time! We came home to a very relaxed dog. 😊 The house was in perfect condition upon returning, as if she hadn’t even stayed. Please do not hesitate to have Daria take care of your pets, you will be very happy you made the choice. We totally recommend her. 5+ stars for Daria! Thank you! Linda & Bill

We were very lucky & thrilled to be able to welcome back Jim & Lana to look after our three boys and the house for a second time and for our longest trip away so far (5 weeks). It is a real pleasure when away for such an extended period (for us at least) to have the comfort of knowing the boys are happy and the house cared for. Even better to come home to chilled doggies & a clean house. Jim & Lana are great communicators, very experienced with property & pets and lovely people, who again made us feel at ease and definitely bonded with our boys. No surprise at all that they have so many fantastic reviews on top of ours and we absolutely recommend them, while also hoping that our future vacation plans and their commitments coincide again and we can welcome them back. This was only our second sit so we are still figuring out how things work. We reached out to Suzanne and Jim about sitting after other applicants had declined for various reasons. We also recruited our first sitter last year. They were positive and willing to make the long trip west to us and interested in exploring the area. Lola was well cared for during their stay which was the most important thing. As in other reviews, some cleaning tasks did not get completed.

Esther and Mark house/pet sat for us while we were in Iceland for our honeymoon. We were so glad we picked them for such an important time! They were proactive with communicating, booked their travel with wiggle room in case we were delayed and kept us up to do with pictures while we were away. The fur kids were all happy and well taken care of and they even left the house cleaner than when we arrived. We would love to have them sit for us again anytime 🙂

Absolutely fabulous experience! Bridgette's husband John helped us out with a crisis by couriering a lockbox key that I forgot which was mission-critical. Thank you so much for your help! Then, when we returned, our two Bengal cats were in high spirits; romping and playing through the house. Clearly, they were quite happy with the care that they had received in our absence. Coupled with the frequent photos Bridgette and John sent over the extended weekend, we were extremely pleased with how the sit went. It is also worth noting that our return trip did not go well. We were subjected to a series of boarding planes / deplaning / rescheduling / reboarding / deplaning again... Throughout it all, John and Bridgette were in constant communication to ensure that the cats' well-being was attended to. We finally arrived home around 2:00 and John and Bridgette had just left... We are so looking forward to having Bridgette and John again and hope that we are fortunate enough that they might be available for our next trip! These people are the best! Ash traveled a LONG way for this sit and still managed to be right on time -- a great indication of the professionalism/reliability that was to come. Our off-grid mountain home requires a fairly detailed orientation, and Ash didn't miss a thing. And our indefatigable mountain dog was even tired when we got home -- not an easy thing to accomplish.

Simply amazing! Lisa was wonderful and cannot say enough about her. She was very active with our dog and even taught her new tricks, something that we haven’t even been able to do. When Lisa left, our dog would just sit in her room and wait for her to come back (which we definitely will have for our next trip). Lisa did great with our many plants, and left the house in great shape. She was very communicative and sent pictures all the time of walks and the good times she had with our dog. You can tell that she cared so much for the dog, house and of us. Thank you Lisa!

Ralph and Barb were great sitters. They loved Finn, gave him plenty of exercise and attention, and were exceptional home sitters. We'd welcome them back any time. They were clear communicators, attentive, and fast to respond to answer or ask any questions. So we were able to enjoy our time away without any cares or concerns. We booked Joanne and Rick in January. We had a great interview and booked them at that time. I kept in touch through the next couple of months. Joanne was very responsive and a great communicator. When they showed up at the scheduled time, we hit it off right away. Indy was very 'taken' with Joanne and I knew it was going to be fine. I asked for a picture or two each day. They took Indy on hikes almost everyday and I got great photos of him and the beautiful scenery. The house was just as I left it, neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them stay in our house. I felt that it was going to be a good sit and it was. I would definitely recommend Joanne and Rick and would have them back any time.

We are so lucky to have found Joy for last-minute pet care! Joy looked after our three dogs, two chickens, and dozens of plants while we traveled for a long weekend. She loves animals and has so much experience caring for them. She is very organized, tidy, and self-sufficient. Joy is a breeze to communicate and coordinate arrival and departure with. We came home to a clean home and happy pups! We are so grateful.
