Third time is certainly a charm in this case. Alia is a 'regular' sitter here now. She loves our pets and interacts with them throughout the day, sending us updates and pictures. We are very comfortable having Alia stay in our home, caring for our four-leggers, so much so that we sometimes just send her a text to see if she's available prior to posting dates on zeewoi. We always chat a while before she leaves, exchanging global travel experiences. Do not hesitate having Alia house/pet sit for you. We highly recommend her.
We feel quite privileged to have the opportunity to look after Franck and Fulmine in Valérie's beautiful Rome house! Franck and Fulmine are great, funny, and adorable. Franck loves to play, cuddle and just be around you while you're in the house. Fulmine is more independent, he’s the king of the house! The house is quiet, spacious, warm, comfortable and with everything you need to feel at home. Also, the place is perfect if you need to get some work done. We both work from home and the wifi worked perfectly fine :) Valérie is a lovely, very generous and easy to contact before and during our stay. I highly recommend this sit and we will gladly return to look after Franck and Fulmine!
Dear Pam and Jen Sorry we have not written this before. Our time in Manchester was super. We felt immediately comfortable in Pam's home. There were so many similarities between the four of us it was laughable. They introduced us to their hiking friends and everyone welcomed us as if we were old friends as well. So nice and he hiking was great too. The cats were lovely and simple to care for. We did not look after Hattie as she went on holiday with her owners. Anyone sitting for Pam and Jen will have a lovely stay. I see the two dogs on Facebook look very friendly and the walking around the large park behind them should be so very convenient.
Sheena and Howard made me feel so welcomed in their lovely home. They cleared out room in the fridge and closets for me, left an Oyster card (for using the public transportation) and a bottle of shiraz, left thorough instructions...I could not have felt more at home! Rosie is a sweet cat who, once her belly has been properly rubbed, is happy to curl on a nearby chair and nap. The brilliant feeders on timers allow you to explore London. Howard and Sheena's home is full of light -- lots of skylights and a French door opening to the back garden -- and tons of books. I was in Heaven! The rear of the house has been remodeled and is roomy, homey, comfy and inspiring. Their upstairs bathroom w/combined tub and shower are modern, too, and very comfortable. It's an easy 10-min walk to Richmond Station w/trains, Tube, and Overground connections to anywhere in London. Very easy to get around. Howard and Sheena were readily available by text throughout their holiday, and it was fun to receive pictures from them of where they were. I feel I've made some new London friends and can't wait to see them again!
It was nice to meet Sue and Wayne and of course Izzy the cat. They have comfortable house in a lovely area. Izzy was a cute cat with a big personality. She took a while to warm to us but was soon sitting near us at night and offering her belly for a brush. She was quick to let us know when she wanted to go out early in the morning and for her wet food. A lovely cat sit.
I sat for Barbara during June 2024 in Barrie, looking after Max and Molly. They were both a bit shy at first, Molly warmed up to me after a day or so and started looking for rubs while Max was a little more hesitant and usually kept to himself, but would come get treats when offered. They spent most of their time relaxing in various spots around the house and like playing with their toys with Max really enjoying the laser pointer. The house was tidy, organised and I was left clear instructions on things like feeding guidelines, recycling, etc. The house is also close to a few bus stops that can bring you to the waterfront and the various areas around Barrie, there’s also several shops and restaurants in walking distance. I found the public transit easy to navigate and the city very scenic. Barbara was a great host, picking me up from the train station the day I arrived and organising for me to be dropped off at the bus station the day I was leaving which I was very appreciative of. I enjoyed my time in Barrie with Molly and Max and am grateful to Barbara for being a wonderful host. :)
We truly love playing , hugging and walking River and Bodie. They are very sweet and well trained. The house is well located, comfortable and charming. I read a book and tried local cafe and restaurant. We enjoyed every minute!
