I enjoyed the opportunity to look after Banjo and Alfie and Alison and John's delightful home. Alison kept me informed and provided all necessary information pre the sit and for the sit. Norton is a quiet village, great neighbours and walks are on the doorsteps.Banjo and Alfie love company and the walks. They know their routine, love cuddles and are such darlings to look after as is the house. My son had to work and has made me promised to look after them again... I didn't need the prompt. 😊
Heidi was a very gracious host opening up her beautiful home with lovely mountain views of breathtaking sunsets from the upper deck. I love to cook and found her kitchen delightful and very well appointed. Heidi’s kindness is reflected in the pure sweetness of her very well behaved cats, Sydney and Sophie. They both love to eat, and as most cats on a schedule, that makes them so easy to care for. They loved to sun bathe on the upper deck, a place in the house we found to be most enjoyable too! The location offered us the availability to walk daily on a beautiful nearby trail named The Huckleberry Trail which goes between Christiansburg and Blacksburg. We also enjoyed swimming and fishing in the beautiful New River and visiting the charming town of Floyd for bluegrass music. It was always nice to come home to Heidi’s beautifully landscaped place on a hill top and snuggle up with her purr-fect four-legged girls. We highly recommend this assignment.
Barbara was very welcoming and her home is a real gem. Barbara is an artist and it shows in her eye for detail, the decoration is exceptional. It was like being in a fairy tale with the beautiful mosaic work on the walls. Dolly is 9 years old but she doesn’t know it herself. She is full of energy and love. We had great walks with her every day, around 4 miles seemed to be her natural limit. She is extremely well trained. We established the pecking order from the moment we arrived and she respected that we were in charge. One afternoon she went looking for a deer in the backyard, but when I called and offered a treat, even though she was out of sight, she came bouncing right back. We did a lot of driving with her as we were also visiting our daughter and her family. Dolly was a great travelling companion. She was also happy to be bathed and groomed. She really is a super dog. We will miss her.
Kerry’s home and Lakota were wonderful, plus the close proximity to adorable Sonoma town‘s fInest hIkIng and actIvItIes, includIng its central Plaza was a joy - so much to do with Lakota and by myself, even on heavily rainy days! Lovely all around!
This was my first house sit and an amazing one. Luna is a lovely cat and very easy to care for. She is independent but also loves to relax next to you. After getting used to me she was very playful and affectionate. Lisa is super helpful and kind. She shared lots of local information and travel tips making my stay in Berlin more enjoyable. The flat is a perfect location and very close to the central train station. It is comfortable and has everything you need. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and answers all questions. I would come back any time!!
It was such a pleasure sitting for Maia and Maisie. They were fun and sweet pups: affectionate and obedient. Puppy Maisie is still learning, and she is already quite impressive! Valerie and Paul are amazing hosts. They really thought of everything. We had a very lovely stay, enjoying pretty views and majestic sunsets. We even got a bit of snow, making their home a marvelous place from which to appreciate a winter wonderland in what is truly the Land of Enchantment!

This is going to be my 3rd time using Aranwood Kennels including their grooming session as well and I have nothing but good things to say about their services. I am so happy to find this place and be able to leave my pups in a good save environment with no b.s going on, straight to the point and very good people. I will continue to use their services and cannot wait till I am able to signed them up to their training classes avail for dogs!
This will be the 3rd time bringing my shih tzu to his kennel. He cares about each and every dog as if it's his own. I've seen him save dogs. Please people stop these 1 star reviews. You're jumping on a bandwagon by a person who has a vendetta against someone else and this owner is in the crossfire.
I travel from Clark to Aranwood Kennels to board my 3 y/o Cane Corso with Danny, ACT K9 Services. It’s taken me so long to find someone who I can trust with my dog and who understands his breed. Well worth the travel time. Thank you guys so much; my fur babe was well taken care of!

Have had a good experience here , the groomers appear friendly and my dog always seems happy when she comes out. We always discuss the look prior to getting her haircut. Only taking 1 star off because my poodle was not really given the haircut agreed upon prior to the groom. Usually they’re pretty good, but this time around, they trimmed all the hair off the ears. Just hope next time they let me know if the decision was made because she was too matted or needed the trim. I also don’t like that they don’t brush their teeth. Overall good experience with these groomers and seem like they care to treat the dogs well.
Madison Dog Resort is amazing! The staff is so caring, and the facility is spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our French Bulldog loves it here and always comes home happy. We especially appreciate the updates and photos they send. Highly recommend for top-notch pet care!
Picked up my dog from this place and he was dirty and had a mark on his face didn’t think much of it until after we washed him we noticed he had a bite mark on his face that looked like they had cleaned up well. After bringing the dog to the vet it turned out to be a dog bite and the spa never said anything about it but definitely knew about it . Needless to say I won’t be using there facility . again after barely being able to stand how bad the smell is inside and not disclosing my dog was injured and felt like they were waiting for us to notice if we saw the bite but it didn’t start to show until we cleaned him .
My dog loves going to the Madison (or the "bark bark" as he knows it). Whenever I mention that we're going to the bark bark, he gets so excited and is ready to bolt out the door. I know he plays hard and has a great time because he takes a big nap on the ride home. The humans at the Madison are great, too! They also do grooming, which is so convenient and my little guy gets to have some playtime before he gets his haircut. Definitely recommend!
We absolutely LOVE the Madison! We board our Boxer puppy here when we go away. The owner Ryan went above and beyond for us ..being the first time we were so nervous to leave her. Highly highly recommend the Madison for your pup! Great experience overall!
I am so thrilled to have found the Madison for my dog, Bowie! This was my first time boarding him since rescuing him last year, and I was more nervous than he was! When I picked him up, he was clean from his bath, well cared for, and had an absolute blast playing with his new doggie friends! I can’t recommend this enough for any dog owner. Thank you Madison Dog Resort & Spa for taking such amazing care of my boy. We will absolutely be back!
I love the Madison - it has been a Godsend when my dog is full of energy and I don't have time for a long walk, or if I am out for the day - so much nicer for them to be with other dogs and people. They supervise the dogs and give helpful feedback. It is clean and the people who work there are consistently friendly and not a lot of turnover so they are familiar faces and really get to know your dog. Kelly and the grooming staff are also really great - one of my dogs is really difficult to handle for baths but Kelly is always able to do it and never complains about her! Victor who runs The Madison is a really great person - cares very much about the business!

We had a great experience with sending our dog to The Madison in Hawthorne. The staff took great care of him! There is always someone with the dogs and make sure they are playing appropriately. They offer grooming which we took advantage of a few times. We mainly used it for care while both my husband and I were at work. One thing to note is that our dog had issues with his paws getting worn down on the floors causing us to not be able to bring him there as often as we would have liked. Overall I would highly suggest using The Madison for your needs.
We recently moved to the area and needed a trustworthy boarding place for our pup. Mike and staff at Dog Rock are absolutely phenomenal. At our prior boarding place, our dog would come home fairly dirty and have a few behaviors that were atypical. Here, she came home SO happy and just had such positive happy energy. The staff threw her a birthday party during her stay as well, which was the cutest thing ever. We got daily pictures. They were very good about updates and I truly trust them with everything. Highly recommend 11/10.
Great place. Dogs are well cared for and they love coming here for day care and overnight boarding. One of my dogs does not like playing with other dogs. Instead he stays in his room and staff come and play with him throughout the day. My other dog loves playing with other dogs and enjoys playtime and visits with his brother. Great place, very clean. Would definitely recommend

This place is honestly amazing! The first place I have EVER felt comfortable leaving my pup over night. He is always happy going in and coming out I can genuinely tell he loves it there and feels comfortable. I highly recommend this place!
Our six year old labradoodle continues to board and go to day care there and now our 10 month labradoodle has joined his brother with them...have done a great job to date!
Dog Rock Resorts is a 2nd Home for my Buddy. Each week, I see my Buddy growing and maturing & learning to feel comfortable outside of our home. This is a exceptional dog-care center. For most people, their pets are a party of the family. Finding a place to leave your pet for the day, or board for an extended time, is not an easy decision. It is sometimes made harder when there are other considerations. We have a fairly timid dog that has high energy when playing with other dogs. Although he is still a puppy, he is 60 lbs. In addition to that, he is not neutered yet at 1 year, which means he is not allowed to play with the other dogs. When he was a bit younger, we kept him with a woman that boards in her house, but he proved to be too much for her and the other dogs there. After that we spent a bit of time looking for other facilities to use while we were away on a trip. Mike and the staff at Dog Rock were very understanding of our situation and accomodated a number of visits, emails and phone calls to help make us, including our dog, feel comfortable. Of all the boarding facilities in the area, Dog Rock has the highest amount of one on one time for a dog mostly confined to an enclosure. In addition to that, Dog Rock has has the biggest enclosures. You may so, “So what? My dog won’t be in an enclosure all day”. Well, it is so much more than that. While we were away, we got many email and text updates from the team letting us know how our pup was doing. They made us feel very comfortable about our decision. They are a top notch facilities with a very caring staff. Not to mention, the facility is beautiful and clean.
Dog Rock Resorts is like no other doggie day care/boarding place that I have been to.... and we have been to a few in the area. I was excited watching the place being built and seeing the design and detail difference from all the others. When you walk in it seems like a very well thought out upscale hotel. My dog Rusty is a great dog that does has some health issues with his hind legs. I have to say that the staff gave him such special care and kindness which made me so very relieved. They even sent some photos which indicated how happy he was. As an extra added bonus it is conveniently located right across from his vet. I could not recommend Dog Rock Resort more!!
Dog Rock takes doggie care to a whole new level. I just scoped it out yesterday to see if I could trust them with my shih tzu, and I was completely wowed. This is true puppy luxury. The boarding "suites", and they really are "suites", are awesome, and the amount of human interaction the staff provides for the dogs is better than any other option I have ever seen. They even send you texts with pictures and videos of your dog throughout the stay. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Lakeside Lounge is the best! We bring our dog there a couple times a week to play. She is always met with love and excitement to see her. She always comes home happy and exhausted from playing. We board her at Lakeside Lounge anytime we leave town. They have fantastic groomers that are able to do a beautiful job on her, despite her intense fear of water and having her nails clipped. Our dog is like a child to us. I totally trust that she is in the best hands at Lakeside Lounge. Lia and Fran go out of their way to be there for her and for us. Our dogs home away from home. Lia and her staff are PHENOMENAL. Coco stayed at Lakeside for close to three weeks and he couldn't be happier. Right from the start, the intake process was seamless. We were able to do a tour and meet the staff at BOTH faciliyies. We saw where the dogs were kept and taken care of. Lia and her staff are so accessible via Whatsapp- they gave me daily updates with pictures and videos. Here is my review written on Facebook when I returned from my trip: I recommend this facility 💯 %- the one in Monroe and New Hampton are PHENOMENAL. Our pocket bully was cared for daily, they took the time to acclimate him and shared videos of his daily activity. They are caring, understanding, patient, and detail oriented. They DO NOT skip a beat and you can truly tell that the staff that work in both facilities truly care about animals. My dog was happy even when he was away from his family. The owner Lia, is timely and she responds to your questions and concerns. No question is too small or annoying. We have found our Coco his DayCare/Spa family. He’s vacationing from us and living his best time life when he’s in their care! I highly recommend them- this was his first time away from us and I didn’t worry one bit because the staff and owner are so knowledgeable. Thank you a million times for caring for my baby!!!
Lea is absolutely amazing, I can not say enough great things about her customer service and the way she cared for my cat. My Himalayan was neglected while I was away and needed a lot of TLC and that’s exactly what Lea and her team provided. Not only did she take wonderful care of her she kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Look no further then Lakeside Pet Lounge for your dog or cats needs and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Thank you again for taking such good care of my fur baby (Truffles)! I HIGHLY recommend Lakeside Pet Lounge!!! Lia was so amazing with our cat Leo and treated him like her own. He had an extended stay with her while we moved into our new home and it went much longer than expected. This was stressful for us but Lia was flexible and made it sooo easy for us knowing our boy was safe with her. You can tell she truly cares and kept us posted on his stay the whole time. Highly recommend Lia to anyone and her amazing business!
Our Boston Terrier absolutely loves doggie daycare at Lakeside Pet Lounge in Monroe! He’s always super excited to go play with his dog friends and comes home a happy tired pup. Everyone I’ve interacted with there is super friendly and welcoming and you can tell how much they really love dogs.
Have had absolutely no issues, they are extremely accommodating, fair priced, and friendly. My pup always has a good time and you can tell they care about the animals. Bring him multiple times a week for day care and have had him boarded before and have nothing but good things to say!
We had a great experience with Lia and the staff at Lakeside Pet Lounge. We boarded our dog for the first time and were super nervous, but everything went great. Lia really worked to get to know our dog's specific needs and integrate her with the other dogs. The indoor/outdoor kennel space they have is awesome too. Our dog came home happy and healthy!
Noah (2 years) and Capone Dillinger (9 months) come home from Lakeside as happy as they did when they left. Both dogs are high energy but come home exhausted from all the playtime they get at Lakeside. Their grooming services are great and the boys always come home smelling good, nails trimmed and ears clean. Lakeside accommodates needs specific to each dog as well. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us and our schedule. I would recommend Lakeside to anyone who needs a safe environment for their dog(s) where they get lots of playtime and attention.
Lakeside Pet Lounge is the best thing I could have done for my puppy! We were leaving my Yorkie for vacation for the first time and we were nervous cause he was only 5 months old and barely 3 pounds. He also hadn’t been around other dogs yet. But after looking at the website, visiting and talking with the owner we felt confident that he was gonna be just fine there and get lots of love and care. While we were gone she sent us lots of videos and updates on him and he was having the time of his little life making friends and playing with all the other puppies.They were all way bigger than him but that didn’t matter to him, he made friends with them and the owner made sure he was safe and with dogs he felt comfortable with. We’re definitely bringing him back for daycare every now and then so he can catch up with his friends and keep socializing. If you’re looking for a place to trust with your puppy while you’re gone, this is it.
HEADS UP TO OTHER FORGOTTEN PETS OF LAKESIDE: If your pet was present at the New Hampton facility on or around October 9 2024 ... please be on the look out for kennel cough symptoms! Symptoms can take awhile to present themselves but when they do ... seek medical attention Lakeside Pet Lounge you continue to disappoint and deflect! Bottom line, I expected a simple apology for the lack of communication to this oversight. However, you have made numerous excuses as to why you did not communicate the potential exspoure. You make a point to reference our Vet, why? When Hazel presented her symptoms and a discussion of her recent whereabouts is had isnt it appropriate to say YES she has visited a doggie day care recently? YES sadly my Vet is aware of your facilities due to other cases related to health issues that have come out of your facilities, whether in August or October myself and others were NOT made aware. Why wouldnt my trusted Vet make us aware of what they know?! You also make a point to reference our nervousness with bringing her there or how she became overstimulated, why? What does that have to do with the FACT that you admit to not documenting her attendance? In case you forgot, Her 2nd to last visit was September 24, as per your recommendations regarding being over stimulated we were encouraged to NOT bring her as frequently. Also, encouraged to come back unannounced on a walk in basis. We followed that exact recommendation, returned on October 9 2024 and when I made you aware of her illness via text October 18 2024 you so arrogantly replied and admitted she was not documented as being present during the potential outbreak time frame! You went on and on reminding me of your vast experiences etc etc but really I only wanted to receive an apology and some comapsion for what we have endured. I am sure you have the MONEY I paid for the services that day!? I wonder how many others are not documented and did not get the heads up! Your facilities name has a bad reputation based off previous and now current health related issues and your continued lack of proper communication. You clearly have not learned from your previous mistakes ... You say going fwd you will do better, I sincerely hope so for all who will continue to attend your facility. We most definitely will not return, I doubt you will even notice her absence as you did not notice her presence. Your obvious tactic of trying to bury my bad review on FB and on Google further confirms my opinion of you. Again, a simple apology or a GENUINE acknowledgment of fault without excuses is what I expected. I made the owner aware and sadly received an unkind response. Clearly she is upset about the bad reputation with regards to health related issues within the facilities, blaming local Vet offices for HER bad behavior and lack of communication is simply deflecting from the actual issue. Parents should take a moment to think .... how has this bad reputation come to be?! Bad reputations don't just fall from the sky! Medical professionals do not just "go after" anyone unless there is reason!
Super friendly and accommodating staff who genuinely care about our fur babies. I feel comfortable leaving them here when we need to be away. I also love the “camper cams” that give me extra peace of mind and a dose of cuteness.

I appreciate the initial screening and vaccine documentation requirements to ensure health and safety. The camper cams give me peace of mind. I can check in any time and see how my little guy is doing. I could see for myself that the dogs are under constant supervision. The counselors are good with the dogs, playing with them and cleaning up after them. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, making drop off and pick up very easy.
My newfie Georgie has been going to camp since she was 6 months old. She really looks forward to seeing her doggy and human friends once or twice a week. Everyone who works there is caring, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great place to be a dog!
Staff is awesome. Very accommodating and flexible. They couldn’t be more caring and loving. They always let me know how much she ate and her overall behavior. My pup pulls me towards the door as soon as we get out of the car. Camp Bow Wow is my go to for boarding and daycare.
Been coming here for years, the staff are absolutely lovely, they care so much about all of the dogs, and know them all by name. My dogs love this place, it is their doggy heaven! Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place. My dog, Yako, really enjoyed himself for his "interview"/first visit and stay at a doggie day camp facility. He especially like Matt, who was totally gentle with him and really made him (and all the other dogs) feel comfortable and safe. It is a big, clean doggie day care/boarding facility and they keep the dogs entertained all day long. When I brought Yako home, he drank some water and went to sleep. Perfect. I am very comfortable leaving my dog for boarding and it is easy to get to from Manhattan or the Bronx. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Rockland County, NY. A++
I had a last minute change in travel plans and Camp Bow wow was amazingly supportive and very welcoming to me and my pup Mango! I felt safe being able to log in and see him at play having the best time with his friends. Staff took excellent care of him and I’m so grateful for you all!! Highly recommend! This was his first time away from home and from me and we were both very nervous but camp bow wow made this experience so seem less and for that I am blessed. Thank you for loving him up for me while I was away.
Karen is an amazing professional caring kind sensitive pet sitter. She took care of our cat Jade who was very shy but she was able to find her each day and made sure she was safe healthy and happy. Karen is an awesome dog walker. My dogs love her, she's always on time, sends pics of their walks and is very responsive. She's very flexible and willing to do extra walks when needed and if she isn't available for a given time she can usually help me find another dog walker who is. I know my babies are safe and cared for with her!

Karen is reliable, friendly, and most importantly our pup loves her! She has had great tips and suggestions for training, leashes, collars etc. she has really shown up for our family and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Karen has been our cat sitter while we are away for years now. We immediately felt comfortable with her and you instantly pick up on her love for animals. She's fabulous to work with, super dependable and reliable, and just a very sweet person overall! Karen is wonderful with our cats and it gives us peace of mind knowing they are being so well cared for while we are traveling. I have been sending my hound to Karen for years. She is so caring with him. He gets so much love when he’s with her because she truly loves animals. Karen doesn’t overbook to ensure your pet gets the attention you would want for your fur baby. Her dog is a sweetheart also. I have used Karen for both overnight boarding and daycare and highly recommend her to anyone with a dog. She books up fast though so reach out in advance.
Karen is a trustworthy, attentive and thoughtful pet sitter! We are able to travel at ease because we know our two cats are safe in her hands. She takes her time with them, sends videos and updates, and is gentle and good with our elderly near-blind kitty. My wife was previously a professional dog walker and pet sitter and has a high standard, which Karen exceeds every time. She is great and we are so glad Peekskill has her in the community!

We are so lucky to have found Karen to care for our three cats! We were out of the country for a month, during which Karen sent us photos and videos daily, keeping us updated and informed. Our eldest kitty has special needs and requires multiple medications twice a day; Karen handled her beautifully, with genuine care and affection. She graciously took a piece of feedback regarding petting this kitty, and helped our cat feel so much more comfortable. Our two others are extremely shy and usually don't appear around new people, but they became Karen's new best friend! I can't overstate how delightful and shocking that was, and I think it speaks to the professionalism and love that shines through when Karen cares for your pets. Karen is fair, trustworthy, and very communicative; her pricing is also an excellent value. We'll rely on Karen any time we need pet care, and I couldn't possibly recommend her more!
A really wonderful company that provides meaningful service and care to our beloved dogs whenever we have to leave them for a few hours and they need a potty break and hugs until we get back home. Alissa has been our sitter and she is absolutely the best! Our dogs love her and she is like a trusted family member to us.
