Looking after Riya for Josie was amazing. I felt completely supported throughout the whole experience and Josie took the time to introduce me to Riya before the sit. This really helped me to understand Riya and her nervousness better. The progress Josie has made with her is so clear and it was useful to pick up some tips and tricks! Riya is a pleasure to care for - quiet and very sweet. The flat is also well-located for park walks and dog-friendly coffee shops, which Josie helpfully guided me round beforehand. I'd highly recommend sitting for Josie and Riya.
I LOVED looking after Riley's beautiful home and her beyond-sweet kitten Jiven. Such a friendly cat and cozy place to stay that happens to be close to some awesome places in Venice Beach.
This was such a wonderful house sit! Bonnie is a well-behaved and intelligent dog—bonus points for being adorable. She was great company while I worked and very affectionate. Sue and Robert are the kindest and most generous people. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome. They made delicious meals for me and had great conversations over chocolate. I am glad to call them my friends. Their home is beautiful and Amersham is equally as lovely. I would highly recommend this house sit!

Our sit with Parker was great fun! Sommer made us feel very welcomed! She was responsive, helpful and a very hospitable host! We had all we needed for a comfortable stay including climbing guidebooks! Parker is a sweet, gentle and handsome boy, who is very excited to be close to you. He was immediately our best buddy from day one, willing to play, snuggle and sleep in a bed with us fully under the blanket! He is super excited to play tag and will drop the toy only if you ask him to do so, but when you chill, he will come to chill with you. We also followed the guidance to avoid bumping into other dogs on walks and Parker behaved by the book - he was calm, attentive, and followed promptly. We fully recommend this sit and would happily be back again!
Jose and I absolutely LOVED staying with these pups! You can always tell when pets are well loved and taken care of. Also Krystal and Jenny were so accommodating, respectful and opened their home for us with open arms. We can't wait to sit for them again!

Great company and highly recommend. Our dog Rodney has the best holiday, it was the first time we’d left him overnight since getting him as a puppy but the text updates and photos put our mind at ease, Rodney had a fab time and came home very relaxed. The owners and hosts clearly really care for animals and look after them as if they were their own! Rodney is already looking forward to his next holiday with Barking Mad and his postcard is now taking pride of place on our fridge :)
We are really happy with the service from Pauline and her team at Barking Mad. She’s taken great care and attention in getting to know our two golden retrievers, noting every detail about their routine and their different characters. She chose excellent holiday hosts for them while we’ve been away; they’ve kept us constantly posted with photos and feedback. It’s so helpful that Pauline comes to pick the dogs up and drops them back home after their holiday, and she is always very timely and communicative. We feel our dogs are in safe hands with Pauline and her team, and it’s lovely to know they are in someone’s home being loved and looked after. We would highly recommend Barking Mad.

Barking Mad are excellent - our little dog loves going to the hosts, they keep us updated throughout our holiday with photos and texts letting us know how she is doing and ensuring we don't worry about her while we are away. Charli was amazing when she looked after Freddie, our 16 month old Fox Red Lab. It was the first sleepover he had had! He was so happy and Charli was extremely knowledgeable about his breed. Charli sent pictures, videos and updates throughout the day, which was great. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her services. Charli recently looked after our young mini schnauzer Otto for a fortnight. It was clear from all the photos and videos Charli sent us that Otto was having a whale of a time, playing and snuggling up to her other canine house guests. In fact he's never looked as happy as in the first photo she sent us with the first three of his new mates! Dogs clearly love Charli and she obviously loves them, a real softie yet able to ensure they're all kept safe. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Otto with Charli again nor our new puppy, in fact we've already booked a day slot for both of them with her and will soon be booking a longer stay for our holiday next year.
Charli has looked after our chihuahua several times, and he’s always felt at home and very happy. We totally trust her to take the best care of him and highly recommend her services. When we’re away, we get frequent updates, photos and videos. She’s lovely to deal with, and we’ll happily leave our dog with her again next time when we need a dogsitter.

Our Cockapoo Archie has just had a weeks stay with Charli. He was really well looked after and had a great week. Charli took care to cater for Archie’s needs but also gave him the freedom to play off lead. He loved the attention from Charli’s family and the company of other dogs. We had updates from Charli 2-3 times per day with videos and photos of Archie’s day. Would thoroughly recommend and look to book again in the future.

But I think the best part is how excited Riley is every time we drop her off, she loves socialising with the other dogs, it’s perfect for her to be around kids and she’s always knackered at the end of the day. Charli was so thoughtful. Rescued us for our anniversary weekend. We didn’t know that our beloved dog didn’t like hanging out in an unfamiliar holiday home. David is a brilliant pet sitter. We used him when we had a week away and we rebooked him the same day we got home for our next trip. He really cares about animals and my two cats warmed up to him really quickly. We received daily photos of our cats which was a nice treat and made us feel reassured they were doing well. The Margate Pet Sitter is amazing. David is absolutely brilliant with our dog, who is anxious and is a handful to say the least, Paddy totally adores him. He's really reliable, can jump in a short notice to help with last minute walks, and the overnight stay overs are brilliant when we are away.
