This housesit was absolutely perfect. The house is in a perfect location with mountain views. A welcoming porch in front calls for hours of time rocking or swinging. There is a great deck in the back also. The house is surrounded by beautiful flowers. Randi is an awesome dog. She is a very mellow senior. No demands unless she wants a biscuit and then she just stands in front of the cupboard and gives you those eyes. She mostly lays stretched out on the floor or porch and is very content. Jill was very easy to communicate with and the sit was flawless.
It was an absolute pleasure to be able to look after Kim and David’s lovely chalet and spend time with Bhodi. Bhodi is a very easy going cat who has his favourite spots to lounge in during the day and becomes more social in the evenings. The chalet is clean, cosy and warm, Kim and David leave instructions for all eventualities which feels reassuring and it is generally a lovely place to call a temporary home!
The sunlight filled apartment had great views and was a nice place to stay. Fig and Three were overall quite affectionate and a pleasure to have as companions. I was offered the sit without any interaction. I asked for an introductory video chat by messaging here but my messages were unopened so then I tried text. We agreed to FaceTime at 8 am but Cidnee did not show up. I found this all strange and did not have a good feeling about coming. During the sit my updates and questions felt unwelcome at times. In hindsight it probably would've been better to have backed out in the first place.
A wonderful, relaxing few days - Jennifer is very kind, and we communicated everything I needed to know before my visit. Ruby and Bryn are absolute sweethearts and so straightforward to care for. I loved my time with them. Jennifer’s home is beautiful and in a great location, I loved exploring the area while the dogs had their post-walk snoozes. Thank you for having me! ☺️
Nancy and Jim were wonderful hosts and guides to their community. We arrived early our first day and they thoroughly walked us through everything we needed to know about the house, and Tinker and Rocco. They made sure we felt comfortable and welcome in their home. This was our first house sit and we're so grateful we had Nancy and Jim. We had a great time exploring Colorado Springs and hanging out with Tinker and Rocco - they’re so spunky and cuddly!
