I loved sitting for Lola. She is such a well-trained and sweet pup. She's perfectly potty trained (no accidents!), eats on schedule, sleeps through the night, is great in the car, doesn't chew on things she is not supposed to, and rarely barks. She is a 5 star dog.

Poe is the most charming of cats; a perfect gentleman, affectionate without being pushy, companionable, easygoing, a dream to look after and spend time with. Katie and Mathijs and their delightful family gave me a very warm and generous welcome to their lovely, comfortable home, and were always quick to respond to any questions, as well as providing a very helpful and detailed welcome guide. Hingham is a very interesting, historic and walkable town, with the seaside as well as extensive woods and a large pond also within walking distance, and many other places of interest in the wider neighborhood. And a fine ferry ride to Boston (which docks right near the Institute of Contemporary Art and the New England Aquarium) for a great day out. A wonderful and most enjoyable pet sit.

Toby
Was lucky enough to find this lovely housesit. Toby was incredibly kind and warm from the first moment of contact. I was given ample information on how to care for the pets and the house appropriately, which was very appreciated! I felt really welcomed and comfortable at the house, which is a lovely place to stay in. I had a great time taking care of Scout as he is a really well-mannered, easy-to-care-for dog. Bottom the cat was very easy to love as well.

Tina
Heather and Tina have a beautiful house in West Philly in an area walkable to restaurants, the universities, and the farmers market on the weekends. A short drive to everything downtown as well. They are very easy to communicate with and were more than accommodating. Clem the adorable beagle is a ball of fun! He is so loving and after a spending day a daycare you get to enjoy all the benefits of a snuggly, tuckered out puppy. He has tendency to run away with your socks, but you can always coax him back easily with a treat :)

Looking after Lovely Lola was a pleasure and delight in Sarah & Tim’s lovely home over Christmas. Lola liked to play in her tunnel with her fluffy wand. She likes fuss on her terms and lets you know when she has had enough. Lola is gentle and just loves to be around people. She will come to the room you are in and lie with you. Lola is not a lap cat just being in the same room or lying next to you is enough for her. It was lovely to meet Sarah, Tim and Hannah . Sarah and Tim’s house is very clean and comfortable in a cute village. They left a Christmas hamper for us (very kind). Sarah and I kept in contact throughout the whole house sit and the lead up to the sit. Everything was explained clearly and concise. The whole experience was wonderful and I can’t recommend this house sit any higher. It has been a joy Lola, Sarah, Tim and Hannah and thank you.

Don and I had a wonderful time in Bay Bulls, NFLD with four of the sweetest cats to cuddle during this two week sit. Lovely area to visit with so much beauty to enjoy around each corner as you meander along the coastline. Rebekah and Colin were the perfect hosts providing wonderful accommodations in their cozy and inviting home including a fabulous ocean view. Having access to their car was certainly an added bonus during this sit. Vehicles since the pandemic are not only hard to come by but super expensive so we really appreciated theirs during this time. We were treated like family during our sit and even invited to enjoy traditional Sunday 'Jigg's Dinners' with their extended family which was wonderful and know that we have new friends as a result. Everyone went out of their way and were so accommodating during our stay. Both Rebekah and Colin provided great communication before and during our sit so that they could keep up to date on their furry family along the way while they enjoyed their away time in England.

Would certainly recommend future sits with them to anyone that gets the chance. Hopefully we can help them out again, if our schedules work out down the road.
Thanks again for choosing Don and I to help you out on your first THS sit.
take care and sending hugs....
