Great sit. The place is exellent with stunning views. Angie and Jules are superfriendly, joyful and very open hearted couple. Communication is really easy with them. I was welcomed to the house like an old friend. Angie and Jules picked me up from the bus terminal and offered me a lunch. During the first day they showed me the house with most important technical issues that I should be aware of. I was also shown the routines with furs and had a walk with Jules and dogs. So Angie and Jules spend the full day with me before they traveled. In the end of my stay I was given an opportunity to stay one more night and even to meet their friends. Furs are just lovely and they got along with me immediately. Max seems to be very wise dog, Rosie sweet and humble and Bat very lazy. All of them are very sweet and were often near by me. I fully enjoyed watching their activities and their togetherness. Before the sit I was a bit worried how I will manage with big dog like Max, but he behaved extremely well. The house is about 4 km from city and uber taxi works well and costs about 5 euros. I can highly recommend this place and cant wait to go back.
We enjoyed this sit very much. As it was only for 4 days, the kitties were understandably quite wary of new people in their kingdom, so we didn't get the fluffy cuddles as we had hoped. However, it was a very easy sit and the kitties are all very low maintenance (unlike me and my desperate need to be loved and cuddled by kitties!!!!!). Whilst they kept a close eye on how close we got to them, the kitties did get used to us being around, and they were very cute when we played with them and their favourite toys. Anton was a lot more friendly and accepting of my continuing attempts to cuddle him - he ALLOWED me to stroke him a few times 😂, Victor took a little longer before entertaining my needs for fluffy attention. And Maisie, well she's still a very nervous kitten, so she and Victor were a dynamic little duo who spent most of their time together, which was sweet to see. Louise is AWESOME! Definitely our kind of human, and we plan to stay in touch for sure. So friendly, welcoming, easy-going and just lovely! Louise and Jem's home is beautiful. It's spacious and comfortable and it was really nice to be able to walk into Norton for some food and a wander round. We even headed into Middlesborough for a few drinks one evening, which nice and quick in a taxi. All in all, a very easy and pleasant sit, which we would very much recommend.
