It was a pleasure to house sit for Tracey and Dennis. We would certainly agree with them that they have the perfect pup in perfect Portugal and add that they are also the perfect hosts. Tracey and Dennis are warm, generous and kind and they couldn’t do enough for us before we arrived, during our stay and when they returned home. They kindly picked us up from the train station, took us to the grocery store and showed us around the local area, including some lovely walks for Bailey. Tracey and Dennis had prepared detailed instructions about Bailey’s requirements, contact numbers and valuable information about Turcifal and other nearby locations, which we greatly appreciated. They regularly communicated with us throughout our stay, and we had a very lovely evening with them when they arrived home. It came as no surprise that they would also have a gorgeous dog. Bailey is such a delight to look after. She is a gentle, calm and quiet dog who thoroughly enjoys being with people. Bailey is happy to follow you around all day. She also enjoys time having her tummy rubbed, having her toys thrown to her, and or course going on walks through the countryside. Bailey happily jumps into her harness and is great in guiding you on her regular walks and she is extremely obedient when called. Bailey is very sweet and affectionate, and we miss her lovely company. We also thoroughly enjoyed staying in Tracey and Dennis’ beautiful home and felt very spoiled to be in such a comfortable, spacious and calm environment. Their home is set in a very picturesque area of Portugal, and we never tired of looking out at the surrounding countryside. The scenery is extremely pretty, and there are no end of wonderful walks nearby. Turcifal is a very pleasant 3 km walk away, and is a lovely village stocked with most food items. We feel very honored to have been asked to house sit for Tracey and Dennis and to have the opportunity to get to know them and Bailey. We hope we can host them one day in Tasmania and return the kindness that they showed to us throughout our stay. Thank you Tracey and Dennis.
We enjoyed our stay in Penticton, appartment and cat sitting for Judy and Chris. We were very comfortable in their home. They left a list of excellent insructions and information. Roxie was a pleasant and entertaining cat. She took her time accepting us as her caregivers at first but finally decided we were OK. She knew the routine well and had us wrapped around her paw in no time. It was nice to arrive back at the appartment to a friendly welcome each time we went out. (She and Don had some fun games with her kitty toys.) Thanks Judy and Chris. We would be pleased to housesit for you again.
It was a great sit. Stevie was a good boy and easy to care for. Communication with William was excellent and clear. The house was welcoming, comfortable and in a quiet, safe area with everything you need close by. Would definitely recommend.
