It was wonderful to housesit for Kathleen and look after Jokes for a few days in August. Her house is so beautiful and comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a nice kitchen and a welcoming guest bedroom. Jokes was shy at first but warmed up to me after a day or so, then he wanted some attention and to play a little bit. Instructions and communication were excellent. Kathleen's home is in a great neighbourhood and a fantastic location for walking, it's close to everything! I would highly recommend this housesit.
It was a great pleasure to meet Lily and Suz. I felt really welcomed in this little house. Lily is a lovely dog. She is indeed shy, but with treats, hikes, and quality time with her, she slowly gets off her shell and you are able to understand better how she's seeing life. There are many parks around where you can go to hike with Lily, and you can really feel how she's enjoying it. Happy moments. I have been lucky to spend time with Suz too before she had to go, and she is a wonderful person. Thank you both of you for having me at your place. I really appreciated my time here. Paulo
This is a great sit with an affectionate older labrador (Zazu) and large tank of fish. It's in a large home in a lovely upscale neighborhood, with relaxed hosts who were friendly and interesting to meet in person. Zazu enjoys 2 long walks a day, albeit more focused on smelling things than vigorous exercise. He is quite food motivated so I had to be careful with what he might find during the walks. He also will be your shadow while cooking and eating. Zazu was comfortable with me immediately and we enjoyed snuggling on the couch. The fish are easy, just need feeding every other day, and it's nice to watch them in the large wall tank in the kitchen. The house is on a quiet street yet located near many shops, food options, and other services. There is also convenient public transportation so a car would not be necessary. The Malvern train station to Melbourne CBD is a 10 minute walk away, and about a 20 minute ride into town.
We had a wonderful time looking after Wendy and Paul’s home and lovely cat Mushtie! We were given a very warm welcome, very thorough handover and great communication. The location is stunning with beautiful views, quiet surroundings and great pool. Mushtie is a sweet cat who is so easy to look after, he loves a cuddle in the morning and evening!
Claire is an excellent host. My stay was confortable and peaceful. The apartment is airy and tidy located close to the the river, it's in a safe and quiet neighborhood. You can find what you need at a walking distance such shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. Doris is affectionate and playful, you won't be bored with her at all. She was shy when I met her but once she gets confortable she will take a nap in your bed, asking for cuddles, she loves to run around the house. She is really funny! I highly recommend this sit and I would definitely sit for Doris again. Thanks again Claire.
Wonderful sit. Bernie was a joy to look after. She isn't trusting at first but she will warm up to you. Bernie loves her snacks and enjoys spending time on the patio - she will let you know what she is up for. Rebecca is a caring, friendly and responsive host. I got great recommendations and prep before the sit. Her flat is located at the very heart of Downtown Manhattan - walking distance to shops, restaurants, water front, Wall Street and World Trade Center memorial. To sum it all up - great experience!
