Pet Sitters in Somerton

Colin stepped in to sit for our two dogs at the last minute when we had been let down by a previous applicant. Colin was very personable and enquired about the dogs routines etc and did a great job taking care of the dogs and the house.

There ought to be more than 5 stars. For Denise. She has been before and is always welcome. We feel very lucky if she has the free time to come to us. Cannot recommend too highly.

Matthew and his family were very kind and considerate house guests. They looked after the house and animals very well and posted lovely photos ( professional almost) whilst we were away. The girls were very attentive to the animals and caused no noticeable destruction ( something my youngest daughter was worried about). There were a few hiccups ( Aga went out), but they took this with good grace, negotiated the slightly complicated hot water system and were receptive to the Aga man coming a few days later. The little gestures count like the thank you plant, and tidy house on return. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as future Housesitters.

We came back to a neat and tidy house, a happy dog, and well fed sheep and hens. Many thanks, Lee. It was a pleasure to meet you and we hope you will be happy to return to south Devon before too long

Another great visit from this lovely family. The dogs have a wonderful time as Rebecca, Ben and Freya like to explore by paw everywhere they can so it makes for lovely adventures. Oreo and Toffee will miss them. This is their 3rd visit in 2 years and they are welcome here anytime. The sit is very easy, organised and everything is as it should be. Thank you for everything.

Juliet and Jen were truly lovely house sitters - communication was fantastic, house was spotless and our cats were very happy and calm when we returned! We would gladly have them back any time and highly recommend.

Stuart and Francis were amazing. They looked after Billy and the house. Billy hardly noticed we’d been away he’d obviously enjoyed being with the sitters. A very responsible and sensible couple we’d definitely have them again Highly recommend

From our first video call we felt Lucy would be easy to communicate with, flexible, able to take our situation/requirements on board without issue, and someone we could trust. These initial feelings were reinforced once we met and during her sit. We agreed she should come a couple of days before we departed so we could show her round the neighbourhood and explain the details of the house and pets. We left confident that our house and pets would be well looked after, and this definitely proved the case. Unfortunately Lucy developed a cold on arrival and was certainly under the weather initially though she did not let this interfere. Lucy did a great job of looking after Jake and our new cat Simba, demonstrating a great love and care for them, soon winning the affection and confidence of both. Simba,being in part feral, has always been vary wary of any strangers and immediately disappears as soon as anyone calls round, but even before we left Lucy had gained his trust. We also lent Lucy our L200 truck, having put her on the insurance, and this was also well looked after. Lucy did encounter some issues with the internet and other minor problems, but via phone calls Lucy was able to explain the problem and I to provide a solution which Lucy had the technical ability to understand and thus resolve the issues. She kept in regular contact with frequent photos/videos of what the pets were up to and did a good job of looking after the house, even sweeping up the copious amounts of leaves that had fallen. It was a pleasure to have her stay, we wish her all the best in her future travels, and hope she will come and sit again sometime in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending her.

Belle & Luke looked after our three dogs so well. Little Audrey had to have medication twice a day which they administered to her with ease. They kept us up to date with photos of our dogs who looked very happy in their company. There was also a bromance going on with Rigby & Luke! House was left clean & tidy. A huge thank you to Lisa for looking after our home and our dog, Dillon. Lisa kindly came round for a meet and greet before the sit and her friendliness and true love for dogs shone through. Dillon took an instant like to her. During the house sit she kept us regularly informed with texts and photos and she clearly gave Dillon lots of love and attention. When we returned home we found the house cleaner than when we had left it and she also left us a welcome home pack which was really thoughtful. We would have no hesitation in recommending her or booking her again. Dillon has found a new auntie who he is missing already! (The only reason for a slight loss of 5 stars all round was owing to having to find other sitters/walkers for part of our holiday but this was purely down to Lisa’s house move which is completely understandable). I can’t recommend Annie highly enough. She was simply amazing. She was so kind to our dog Mitsy and treated her as if she were her own. She was also very patient with us and sent us daily updates and pictures/videos of Mitsy as this was our first time leaving Mitsy for such a long time. Mitsy was so loved and looked after by Annie. She looked after Mitsy so well when she had some bowel issues and even bought and cooked fresh chicken to get her back on track. Annie also looked after our house extremely well and even stopped the rabbits from getting in the poly tunnel. And to top it all off she had a delicious dinner ready for us when we came home. We feel and hope we have made a friend for life. And you could not get a better person than Annie to look after your pets and home. Thank you Annie.

Anna is great - very reliable, communicative, clean and tidy. She looked after our house and cat for a week and I'd be very happy for her to do it again.
