My 6 month old pup had the best time at a daycare session! Came home both relaxed and exhausted. Was so lovely to receive photo updates during the day, I felt very comfortable leaving him at Bark Avenue and will definitely be returning.

Rosie loves Bark Avenue day care. The minute we arrive she can’t get out the car quick enough. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and caring. I highly recommend. I will be going into hospital soon and know they will love and care for her.

It's a huge comfort knowing our dogs always enjoy their time at Bark Avenue when we are away. The regular updates and photos reassures us that they are being cared for and are happy to be there. Thanks to all the staff for loving our dogs like their own when we are overseas.

Just had my little daschund Roger stay here over cup weekend and the service was great. I had to change my booking a couple of times and they were super accomodating and easy going. When dropping off Roger I could tell he was going to be fine and the staff were super friendly, how they interacted with Roger made me feel that they genuinely do want the best for the dogs going there. The photos I got once he had settled in were great he had the funniest smile on his face (see photo attached haha) and it made me feel reassured that he was having the best time. Upon picking him up he was super excited to see me but I could tell by how exhausted he was that he’d had lots of fun and socialised + been taken out a lot which is great! Overall he’s been super happy so I know he was at ease. Thanks again will definitely come back in future!

My little Clara has been going to Bark Avenue every Wednesday for the last 4 years. Every time is a delight: every arrival is filled with joy as she is welcomed by Stacey; she plays with old friends and makes new ones (the latest a little schnauzer boyfriend); she gets cuddles from the lovely staff. She comes home tired and happy. Truly, Bark Avenue has been, and continues to be, a wonderfully special part of my beautiful little girl's life. Thank you, Sylvia, Scott, Stacey and all the staff!

Our wolfie cross Molly had her first doggie daycare day on Friday and she loved it. The team are amazing, so friendly, from arriving in the morning to the best meet and greet ever, Molly was in second heaven. During the day I even received photos of her playing. The day was a test run to see how she would go for when we go on holiday, this is such a good idea we all know now Molly will love it. Bark Avenue team thank you, you are awesome. Mark

Bark Avenue Luxury Pet Resort is amazing! Butch had an absolute blast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and reassuring about his stay. It was clear he was in great hands, and I felt totally at ease leaving him there. We’ll definitely be booking his stay with them again! Highly recommended!

The best kennel service, care and facilities by far. My pampered pooch came back happy and relaxed. They even send you photos of your dog whilst you are away to assure you that they are having just as much fun as you are on your holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting the best care for their dog.

Maple our Golden retriever had 8 nights at Bark Ave and I think when we collected her and came home she was depressed from such a great time she had! There were no issues, check in and collection a breeze and it was good to get an update on her stay. The owners are helpful and friendly and this would be the best boarding house in Victoria we have used

We were so nervous about leaving our big, energetic puppy for 4 days but she was so well looked after. She came home happy and relaxed and not showing any signs of stress. I think she had a beautiful holiday. The staff love her as much as we do! We will definitely come back.

We had our two chow chows here for 9 days while we were away. They were fantastic with my one reactive dog and very attentive. We also got an update and photos half way through their stay which was very reassuring and made our holiday even better. Will definitely take them back here!

Chloe was at dogs country club for 14 days, I was so nervous to leave her and this was her fist every trip away from home. The team at the dogs country club were fantastic and ensured me Chloe would be okay. With regular updates making my holiday stress free. Chloe had an absolute ball and when she came home she was exhausted, I did a tour of the kennel, it’s nothing short of a resort so clean. Would 100% send Chloe there again..

My dog recently stayed at Dogs country Club and Kennel Resort while were at a family wedding interstate. I was very nervous as he had never been to a kennel before as he usually stayed with family while we were away. All the staff at the country club were so professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. They took the time to find out about our dogs likes and dislikes and special needs to make sure he had an enjoyable and stress free stay. He had one on one attention and playtime and social time as well. The property really felt like a doggy resort and I felt very relaxed on our holiday knowing he was being well looked after. The arrival and departure process was really stress free and I was able to call to get updates during his stay as well. Our dog was very happy when we picked him up and we could tell he had a great time. I could not recommend the dogs country club more highly and will definitely be bringing him back on our next trip or maybe even for some doggy daycare days!

Absolutely the best dog minders in Victoria. I travel often interstate and internationally for work and of course due to this my dog (child I never had) needs to be cared for while I’m away. I choose this team every possible time. What stands out most to me is the level of professionalism and care this team provides. Their product is care and they produce the best possible product I have found in Australia thus far. My dog leaves me excited for their stay with this team and comes home happy, well fed and smelling great. Travelling a lot for work I value that I can leave my pet here and know that I have delegated their care to a team that look after my pet the same way I would, which leaves me confident knowing that I can focus on the tasks and projects in front of me and come home to a healthy and happy pet. Our beautiful Lilly comes here everytime we are away. She gets very excited when we arrive. The staff love what they do and it's obvious. I don't have to worry about her when she's staying here. Thank you for making it easier for us to go away.

Big THANK YOU to the Team at Dogs County Club! I have separation anxiety from my two boys and the team is amazing at providing updates and caring for my little monkeys. We visited quite a few kennels, and this one is head and shoulders above the rest. I researched reviews on many kennels, and encourage others to do the same. However, the care and attention provided at this resort is difficult to put into words. If I could give 10 stars I would. Generous sized enclosures, very clean, play friends matched on personalities, amazing care for special needs, and plenty of cuddles and play time. Accommodation is wonderful and my boys always come home healthy and happy. It’s not easy being away from your fur baby, but knowing they are in good hands makes it a lot easier. Thank you again to all the Team, your services and care for my boys (and your other guests) is very much appreciated. Each one of you do an outstanding job.

Our two older dogs George and Tilly recently stayed here for 10 days. They came home in great condition and their individual needs were taken care of. It’s a really nice facility. While we were away we were updated on how they were going, which was very reassuring. I definitely would take my dogs here again.

We had an excellent experience with We Love Dogs with our elderly small dog. From first contact, to drop off, to checking in, to picking up Toby, the staff were lovely and patient. It feels rare to encounter a business as honest as this! As an ex-shelter dog, I was worried how Toby would go in a kennel environment, but he came home unfazed - just tired! I could tell that the staff took the time to get to know him and understand his needs, which I really appreciated. Would happily use their services again!

This was the first time we have left our 9 year old Cavoodle with anyone - and he had an absolutely lovely holiday! The team at We Love Dogs are just lovely and make you feel very comfortable with leaving your beloved family member with them. The K9 Cab service was also fantastic! We have already booked in for his next holiday!

Our 12 year old, anxious ,rescue Jack russell had a wonderful 2 week stay at "We love dogs". Despite his previous 4 knee surgeries, he came home happy, confident and full of beans. Thank-you for brilliant care!

This place and the staff are absolutely amazing! The dog whisperers of Victoria! My dog Alfie had his first stay at We love dogs and he can be quite challenging and anxious in a different environment, away from his comforts and surrounded by strangers. But the staff and especially Maddy, who spent a lot of time with him, did an incredible job with the amount of care, patience and attention they gave to make sure Alfie is settled and has a positive experience. I was so worried leaving him in a boarding kennel as he had been in another one previously and was quite stressed and overwhelmed from the experience. But this place is truly amazing! The staff love and care for the dogs as if they were their own! We drove from the other end of town taking us over an hour to get there, but absolutely worth every minute of the trip! The staff explained everything on arrival and then updates and feedback in such detail, that they put me at ease and I picked up a healthy and happy Alfie at the end of the stay! I can’t thank We love dogs enough! We will definitely be back! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants peace of mind knowing that their fur baby will be in the best hands!

WOW, What a resort, and here we were panicking that Max would not be looked after, it was the complete opposite, Maddy and all the staff down there at We Love Dogs did a fantastic job in looking after Max for us, given him being a diabetic and only recently having cataract surgery we actually thought after we finally got him back home that he actually missed the resort more than missing all of us, thank you to everyone there for taking care of Max for us.

Cheddar my pooch loves this place, comes back super tired which is understandable. Wish there was more pics and updates sent out but I get that there's a fee dogs to manage.

I can highly recommend ‘We Love Dogs Kennel Resort’! Basenjis can be a little challenging in a kennel environment away from their usual comforts of home life but we were so impressed with the level of care and the attitude of everyone we spoke with before our dogs stay, during our holiday and again on pick up. Their communication was detailed and outstanding. We felt confident leaving our precious dogs with them, even our anxious little girl coped well. The staff are exceptional with the level of care they provide and their experienced carers were excellent. We can finally relax and enjoy our holidays knowing our dogs are very well cared for and safe. Thank you!

I'm very satisfied with the quality and standard of care was given to our Standard Poodle. I will use them again. Cost was $42.00 per day for a 5 day stay.

After seeing some of the negative reviews on here, I decided to call up and chat to the owners. They gave me their time and answered all of my queries and concerns. I asked if I could check out their facilities before deciding if my dog stayed there, they said that was fine too. I checked it out, all good. I asked if they could feed my dog according to his diet, which is probably a little tedious for them to do. No worries at all there either. They were thorough in ensuring my dog was vaccinated and asked questions about his temperament prior to his stay. For the really affordable price they charge, and how decent and caring they were, I'm not sure what more the people leaving negative reviews expected? Anyway, the kennel didn't put me up to writing this, and I'm a bit of a helicopter dad when it comes to my dog, it's not the only place I checked out. I suggest that you don't let the negative reviews sway your decision, give them a call.

My 2 dogs stayed here for a couple of nights and seemed to enjoy it. Lovely to know they got their own time to run around outside. Staff were also friendly

Left our 11 yr old large dog Andie who has arthritis and anxiety for 4 days, she was very well taken care of and our request to have her exercised alone due to her arthritis was implemented. When we picked her up she had been brushed and washed and was happy. The staff were lovely and knew how to care for an older anxious dog - we will use Kooronya again

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Took my nervous cat to Kooronya for a 4-5 day stay. No record in office of my booking on arrival lady told me it hadn’t been transferred from main house yet, I thought fair enough. Asked if I could inspect where my cat would be housed, was told I couldn’t go in as there was a sick cat in there, but I could look through window which I did. Seemed bare but clean. Left my cat there on the Thursday and rang on the Saturday to see how she was going. A male answered ph and told me she was ok had been coming out of pod to eat, I knew she wouldn’t be social but thought as long as she was eating and drinking she’d be ok. Rang on the Monday to say I would pick her up a bit earlier before 11, spoke to lady in office who told me my cat hadn’t eaten for 4 days !! I was shocked, went to pick her up and her explanation was that the male who I had spoken to mixed my cat up with another one that went home? Another female employee said that my cat didn’t like her and had hissed at her, she is very nervous of strangers, but thought a little understanding would help, as that is their job. So my cat hadn’t eaten but she told me she had been using the litter tray and drinking water, and they start to worry after 4 days as cats can get kidney problems. When I went in to the enclosure she let me get her out by myself, when I lifted her out I noticed how the condition of the material pod was, disintegrating under the cushion and dirty. Lady in office was pleasant , but can’t help but feel from other reviews that she is not in charge. My cat is ok and was glad to be home, and I’m thankful I didn’t leave her there any longer .

I’ll start this by saying that my dog has not stayed in this kennel. However, the reason for that is why I’m leaving this review. We did a tour/visit of the kennel to see if it was appropriate for our dog for a 5 day stay. The kennels themselves are standard cages, relatively spacious, the staff member we met with seemed nice enough, seemed to like the dogs. We didn’t get to see the outdoor grassy area, to see how large/small it is but it is not the area pictured with the lake, it is a different area out back of the kennels. The main reason I did not send my dog here was that I asked specifically about the process of drying the dogs if they have been out in the rain (my dog is prone to hotspots if not dried properly) the response was that ‘if it’s raining we don’t like to have the dogs outside, if we see they have relieved themselves in the kennel then we don’t take them outside that day because we don’t have enough staff to dry them all’. That’s a massive red flag for me. I don’t like that at all, and I feel very sorry for the dogs staying there over winter who are forced to relieve themselves in their pen, and not taken out for stimulation - it almost feels like they are being punished. If they do not have enough staff, they should simply not take on so many dogs.

Kooronya came through for last minute accommodation for both my cat and dog. Was happy with the facilities and my dog came back a bit plumper but happy and clean. Cat facilities were also good. I like the way this organisation is available on weekends and public holidays to take your call. I have no reason to not recommend. Would definitely put my pets there again. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to superior customer service I've received elsewhere (which I think comes down to more staff and bigger facility). I would also urge management to respond to negative reviews, as they are vastly different to my experience and need some explanation in my view.

Rude owner and badly maintained kennels! I would not leave my pets here again. The kennels (even the office) had an overwhelming smell of dog pee and throughout the process of filling in forms we found the owner to be condescending, intimidating and rude, making threatening jokes to myself and my mother on several occasions the morning we dropped our pets off. Even after he asked us to read the T&Cs form before signing he joked about us causing problems and not signing it just because my mother took a moment to read over the forms?!... After asking to see where our animals (cat/dogs) would be kept the owner made another threatening joke and would not allow me to see the Cat kennels. Every other place I have left my Cat has been more than happy to take me through the kennels, even letting me put my cat into the kennel myself. All very odd. The dogs came home smelling as bad as the whole place did and looking in poor condition and very unhappy. I don't want to think about why that would be. People place a massive amount of trust in a kennel to look after their pets and I don't feel this man really cared about the animals, he is a disgruntled kennel owner. This man should be shut down immediately. I ended up leaving my cat at a lovely Cattery called Cats'r'us in Officer. if you can make the drive it is totally worth it , absolutely spotless, happy cats and several lovely staff tending to the animals all day.

This is the best pet boarding kennel in town. Highly recommend their outstanding services and excellent quality of care for my beautiful dog. They are very easy to deal with. My girl looked really happy and was in good spirit when I picked her up after few days of holiday. Thank you team for your hard work and customer service.

I always recommend Kip Mornington to my family and friends! the staff are so friendly and easy to communicate to. Our dog has been multiple times and always has a blast! The online booking system is so easy to use and the pricing is very affordable! They keep you updated with photo’s and videos of there stay which I love! Our dog always makes plenty of friends when she stays and it’s so nice to see how happy she looks in the photos coming through! They always give our dog a bath before getting picked up which I don’t expect but it’s just another add on that really shows the value for money! I could go on and on about how great I think the team are at Kip Mornington but I’ll just leave it with this, if you are looking for a boarding kennel that have an amazing team who really care about giving your dog a fun and safe stay away from home look no further than Kip Mornington!

Kip were fantastic to deal with - happy to give me a full tour before we left our 18 month old entire bouncy girl lab, Aggie, with them for the weekend. During the stay she had a paddock play or bushwalk each day (an extra but well worth it) and I received photos and videos showing how well she had settled in. Will definitely be back if we are away again.

We've used Kip for a few years now after finding our previous chosen kennel outdated. The options available are fantastic and our two German shepherds love the paddock play. Purpose built it has heating and air conditioning and piped music to calm the dogs if a thunder storm happens. They also email daily update videos of your dogs activities and let you know of any issues. Highly recommend these guys/girls.

We were so pleased with the service and communication from Kip Mornington. We revived regular updates and our dog was so happy. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

My dogs have been going here for years & they have all enjoyed their stays. Staff are super friendly & lovely with the dogs. The fact that my dogs rush in on arrival says a lot about Kip Mornington.

Muffin has so much fun at Kip Mornington (in pearcedale) she doesn't want to leave! The updates they send threw of her days, are the best and give so much relief when leaving your furbaby. Couldn't recommend more!!

I can't say enough good things about these boarding kennels! They have looked after my dog, Matteo, on numerous occasions, and each time has been fantastic. The team (especially Adam!) are incredibly accommodating. The care and flexibility they have provided me especially with last-minute bookings so I can be with my terminally ill father has been incredible and has ment I have not needed to worry about Matteo as I know he is very happy here. Plus the daily photo or video updates are incredible and are helpful to know my boy is so happy. Matteo is always so excited to be there – sometimes I even wonder if he'd prefer to live there than with me! The care and attention they provide are top-notch, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing he's in such good hands. Highly recommend!

My Dog LOVES stirling lodge. He was happy the moment he set foot till he leaves. The staffs are warm and friendly and it is obvious everyone took care and have a good heart. We also get updates of how my son is doing with pics on the client site which was very nice of the staffs to do that. Feedback was personal which means the staffs really get to know the dog well and personal. Love this kennel and thanks to the staffs!! Please keep having us!

We took our staffy here for 14 days whilst our parents were overseas and thought our little Charlie was in the best care possible. He returned to us distraught and extremely skinny, and also caught kennel cough! I was so sickened by this, that nobody contacted us to know our baby was in distress and for him to be returned in such a horrible way. No follow up or anything, disgusting.. do not bring your dog here, you have lost a customer: do not bring your dog here if you want to be confident a place will look after your baby! This was also a little while back so we have had to spend the time bringing our baby back to normal. I am so shocked a place like this wouldn’t even let us know about the changes within our boy. Disgusting!

I enquired to board my amstaff here, I asked if he gets to play wit rest of the dogs and I was told and I quote “We do not share American Staffies with other dogs.” So despite even meeting the dog or knowing their temperament they are already making judgements against bully breeds. It's disheartening to encounter such closed-mindedness. I have decided that my dog deserves a more inclusive and understanding environment, so I will not be boarding him at this facility. The open discrimination against bully breeds displayed by this establishment is deeply troubling.

I feel communication is bad, do your research people, photos are definitely not up to date , go with your gut feeling when trusting care for your fur babies, definitely not cheap so I was very disappointed in overall care of my puppy

We love visiting the off leash area here with our GSD. He has some fear barking/lunging issues and it's great for playing safely around other dogs and people. They also have great boarding facilities with roomy outdoor pens for your dog. You can tell they love animals and are great with them!

We totally love this place, Jenny & family together with exceeding staff Rachel, Paige & Jackson are all passionate animal advocates, who openly show their love for each fur babies each day. Excellent ! My dogs were in very good spirits when I picked them up , even my rescue Greyhound , who I thought may not settle , ate played and slept without too many problems, in fact she was giving all her attention to the staff lady when I wanted to take her home . My boy a Standard Schnauzer, had a really good stay , ate , slept and played. I recommended 4 Paws heated and air conditioned kennels . Thank you all at 4 Paws for taking such good care of my fur babies.

I can not say enough for the wonderful staff & owners. They took care of my 4 dogs SO WELL....When they dogs were delivered to me...they were all over me PLUS the staff member that dropped them to me. They LOVED her too! I was able to visit my dogs any time, they took my calls & put me at SO much ease & peace. Myself, Shaz, Gypsy, Kelly & Tokie HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. Thanx again Girls.. you made such an effort. One of the best lodge kennels to let your pup have its own vacation while you are away or busy. Super friendly owners and staff, and my baby beagle (aka, Cherry) always has a blast when she is there. Very nice accomodation, always keen to accomodate pups even at the last minute (thank you!) and a really tranquil place for your pup. Worth the drive!

Fabulous place for our dogs - Spencer is 14 and George 2, both stayed in Fluffy House for the first time. The staff were brilliant. Our boys were very well looked after.

This is an outstanding boarding kennel! Belinda’s staff are terrific - dogs are examined every day checking for anything not quite right, the dogs have two x 2 hr exercise periods per day with handlers. Our three Pointers have just come back from over 3 weeks at the kennel and are very happy and relaxed. We had a 4 month old pup included and he was very well cared for. Highly recommend them!!

These people are fabulous, my Jack Russell always loves it there & she is a people dog not really lover of other dogs. Yet when she is in their care she thrives. Recently had health issues & Poppy had to be cared for which Mornington Lodge did beautifully. Thank you so much to all for your care.

Couldn't recommend the Mornington Lodge Kennels and staff more. I recently had my 2 x very very spoilt Bernese Mountain Dogs stay with the team in the Executive Suite. I was extremely anxious and worried about leaving my fur babies behind especially after 2.5 years all locked together at home. The staff did a wonderful job and went above and beyond to alleviate my stresses in leaving them, which meant that I was able to enjoy a well deserved month in Europe. I cant thank you all enough for your help in looking after my babies. Jemima my littlest had never stayed in a kennel before and unfortunately had become a COVID puppy due to poor socialisation during the many Melbourne lockdowns. She has come home from her stay a different dog and is now much more confident and happy with strangers. Jemima and Stirling will 100% be back and I cant thank you all enough; for giving me the freedom to explore the world again!! Extra special thanks to Sirena who truly is one of the kindest and most patient people that I have ever met. Thank you for dealing with my many neuroses.

Returning from a 5-day visit our dog was exhausted, dehydrated and had bad diarrhoea. I contacted the staff at the kennel only to discover they observed low appetite and the same diarrhoea symptom themselves, on day 2 of his visit. Nothing was mentioned at collection. We would have appreciated a phone call at the very least and better transparency. We won’t be back.
