Jill was fantastic. I was a quick river trip with no cell service for a couple days, so was a bit nervous about not being able to get updates. She sent me a handful of pics from the park/hikes etc even knowing I wouldn't be able to see them at the time. Apparently my pup got into some food he shouldn't have and she stuck around a few hours later than she planned to just to make sure he was ok, which was very kind of her. Highly recommend Jill.

Sue is delightful! She’s engaging, responsible, and creative. We came home from our trip to a happy dog and a warm supper waiting for us. She went above and beyond in every respect. Tammy & Allen did a great job caring for our house and cat for six weeks. This is the second time they've sat for us. Although this time, they did get to see that DoodleBug isn't a complete angel. He brought in a mouse, puked on the carpet, and took a dirt bath or two. Overall the house was clean when we got home, there were just a few things they had missed. We would still have no problem recommending them as sitters.

Ryan and Kathleen were wonderful house/pet sitters. They are kind, great communicators and took great care of our puppy while we were away on vacation. Unfortunately Krishna wasn’t able to make the sit, but Brian and his son came and took great care of Lincoln while we were away. Brian was detail oriented, self sufficient, and organized. Ryan was great to have watch our home and dog. We felt comfortable with him from our first communication. He is very responsive and easy to communicate. Our dog loved Ryan so much he wasn’t that crazy happy when we returned home. He kept the house spotless . That’s not an easy job considering we have a pool, pond, garden & a crazy number of potted plants. We are already talking about planing a trip around his schedule. Highly recommend ….

We were away for over 30 days and it was a real blessing to have Pamela and Eric stay in our home and care for our dogs. They settled right in and even fit into our expat community. After meeting them and spending a couple of days acquainting them with our home and the dogs routine, we felt completely at ease leaving our home and pets in their care. They drove us to the airport and picked us up. Pam even had a meal prepared for our return. A lovely couple and I sincerely hope we can have them sit again.

We are so very thankful that we found Eva.  She housesat for us for 18 days in August 2024.  She's such a sweet lady and we now consider her family.  We'd welcome her back to our house at any time.
     She was very loving and caring toward our indoor cats, Phoebe and Dora, and administered their thyroid medication daily as we requested.  She brushed the kitties, fed them and cleaned their litter box as requested.  We also got picture and video updates from her so we could see how happy our fur babies were.  She also lovingly cared for our adopted outside cats, Pherrel, Murphy and kitten, Cheeto.   
      She kept the house very clean and neat and had done all laundry before our arrival home.  She communicated well with us.
     We give her FIVE STARS on everything!  We highly recommend Eva!

Delaire

Delaire is a great person to housesit for.  She gave clear instructions in what was expected, was prompt in communications and we felt right at home when we arrived.  The two cats, Blue and Piper, are the easiest cats to care for. Blue will come up to say hello right away and Piper will take her time, but after a day or so will be quite friendly.  They both love to be brushed and cuddled. 

Delaire’s lovely home is in a fantastic location, not far from the beautiful sand beaches of Wasaga and the historic town of Collingwood.  There are bike paths and hiking trails nearby, as well as many restaurants in the area. The week went by quickly and we also enjoyed spending time reading and relaxing on the large back deck.

Friendly and warm host, convenient location, a very clean and comfortable home, and sweet cats - all add up to an excellent housesitting experience.  Definitely recommend this housesit and hope to return when our dates match up!
