Charlie and Davina communicated perfectly in the lead up to the sit and also when we arrived. It was a pleasure to meet them and 2 of their sons, and of course the heavily pregnant ‘Jaffa’ - their delightful border terrier, plus the 6 chickens . Everything was straightforward and the house was fantastic, standing in beautiful extensive grounds. We were encouraged to use produce from their lovely fruit and vegetable patch and to eat the freshly laid eggs. We loved the stay and can’t wait to see photos of the new puppies, and would thoroughly recommend this sit if you get the opportunity. I really enjoyed house sitting for Debbi in Cuenca. Her home was beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect. There is so much to do in Cuenca, especially if you enjoy the indigenous history and culture of Ecuador. Hamish, the young cat, was a blast. He was always up for a conversation and he kept me entertained. He as so sweet. I highly recommend the house sit!
Gary and Ellen were so welcoming and easy to communicate with throughout the whole house sit. Their dog, Kali is the best, very sweet and affectionate. Their home is very comfortable and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would be happy to come back whenever we're available.
Beau was a wonderful companion for the time that I spent at Hugh and Lorraine's. He is playful and sweet and loved the sunny days we got in as much as I did. The home is a great space to cook, read and write of which I did much of when I wasn't exploring restaurants and cafes in the area.
We really enjoyed this sit, Andy and Liv's house is beautiful, well located and Dory and Leo are two lovely dogs, they really took a part of us and we'll always remember them. If we ever come back to nottingham, we would love to visit them again.
