I can highly recommend this sit. It's a real home from home experience with gorgeous pets. Each with their own special characters, ready to cuddle and entertain you. The dogs know and will show you every possible route of the never ending, amazing walks right on the doorstep. Good walking boots are a must to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Both the dogs and the cats got on well with my dog, a very sociable affair sharing baskets, blankets and attention. Tony and Kristine are welcoming and attentive pet parents. They made sure I knew how everything worked and where everything was before they departed. The house is well equipped and comfortable and little Ella will ask to snuggle up with you in the middle of the night :) Both cats are very affectionate. The washing hanging by the fire and an empty cardboard box entertained them and me lol, for hours! The chickens all know their routine and have a great life scratching about in their stream fed pens. Zola is the comedian of the fur babies and insisted on carrying her frisbee for miles one day. Jess has never ending, energy for walks and her tank of enthusiasm never runs low. All in all a sit I would be more than happy to return to, in a lovely community with lovely neighbours too. xx
We could not have had a better stay at Conchita and Jamie’s wonderful home. Their home has everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay and is very close to a shopping street with restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and stores. It is also close to the amazing Downs park and lots of great walking routes around Bristol. Their home is warm and inviting, simply wonderful. Conchita and Jamie gave us a great overview of the home and neighbourhood before they left, and kept in contact through the sit so we were able to ask any questions we had and keep them up to date on Rufus’ adventures. Rufus is an absolute treasure. He is the sweetest little dog you could wish to meet. To know him is to love him! He is very well trained and is the most patient pup at cafes or pubs, very happy to fall asleep under the table. He has excellent recall and is a pleasure to take on long walks or to play with at the park. At home he likes to play with his toys or shower you in cuddles when he’s not asleep on his bed. Looking after him was delightful and we miss him already! Lucas and I are so pleased we got to house sit for Conchita, Jamie and Rufus. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend looking after Rufus and sitting for Conchita and Jamie.
