This was our very first THS and it couldn't have been better! Sarah and Mike made us very welcome in their beautiful home, with Sarah cooking a delicious lunch when we visited for an introductory meeting, a wonderful evening meal - and her cheese on toast recipe has now been firmly adopted by us both! Oscar was perfect, a little wary at first which is only natural, but we soon made friends. We enjoyed taking Oscar out to explore the local area and places of interest and for shady walks. He loved the car - especially the air con and cooled seats in such hot weather! By the end of the stay Oscar would come for cuddles and a tummy rub. As our first THS dog, he will always be special - and he's so cute! We fell in love with him! Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and dressing area, and we had use of the shower room. We were able to pick produce from the garden so enjoyed raspberries for breakfast, runner beans and lots of apples. At night we could hear the owls and saw lots of bats in the garden. We really enjoyed our stay and we'd love to sit for Oscar again in the future. Thank you, Sarah and Mike.
