Pet Sitters in South Arm

Although our home address on zeewoi is at our Sandy Bay, Hobart, cottage, our sitter Ros is a near neighbour of our Bruny Island home, and we selected her as our sitter as she knows both our home and our lovely dog Baudin. As a relatively new member of zeewoi Ros had a lot on her plate when she arrived, and felt a little overwhelmed, but after talking her through his needs and habits, and clarification of our copious notes, we were happy to hear they’d settled into a good mutually content routine, while allowing Ros to attend to her own business, and it ended up being a harmonious time for both. Baudin looked so relaxed and well cared for on our return and we are grateful that we had Ros living at his favourite location, above the beach.

Gaye gave regular updates, my dogs were well and happy when we got home, the house was clean and tidy and sheets washed and on the line. Very happy with Gaye.

Laura & Paul were lovely & I felt totally confident leaving ‘the kids’ in their care. Good communication during their sit. Prior to sitting they asked everything they needed to know about their individual needs & personality which was very reassuring. Would not hesitate recommending them to perspective travellers. Thanks so much guys. Sorry if the bed was crowded at night 🥰

We really lucked out finding Eliza and Brad to stay at our house for two weeks over Christmas/New Year. They were so kind, very tidy and just super with both of our pets. They sent photos of both of the animals throughout our trip, and it was clear they had a great connection with them! The house was left in an excellent state (very clean!)- and they went above and beyond trying to help sort out garbage collection over the holidays. We were also surprised by Christmas gifts from their home country, which was such a sweet touch. It’s a pity they don’t live closer, but we’d highly recommend them as a lovely young couple who did a fabulous job with our home and our pets.

We had Aaron to stay over for 18 days/nights in our house close to Antwerp, Belgium, to watch our dogs, a huge labrador and a Jack Russell. He is in my experience completely trustworthy and easy-going. The dogs loved him and were sad once he left. The house itself was also tidy (within reasonable expectations). Aaron communicates really well and has a hands on approach. He's always welcome to come back!

Rebekah took great care of our Husky. Even though she didn't have much experience with big dogs, she did a great job. She had good communication with us and was self-sufficient.

Sue, is brilliant, she looked after Molly, Izzy & Misty with great care. I felt totally at ease, while we were away. Sue messaged me to let me know how things were going. When we got back everything was as we left it. And most importantly we had 3 happy and content pets. Thank you Sue, you were wonderful

We had not used Trusted Petsitters before and we were rather anxious about it. I felt reassured the minute Sarah and Les walked through our door. They were so lovely, reliable and easy and we could not have been more delighted. Our dogs looked extremely happy and relaxed when we arrived home and our house was immaculate. I could not recommend Sarah and Les more highly.

Very grateful to Steve for looking after Ziggy for me after the planned sitter had to cancel one week before the sit. Communication prior to the sit was great, he arrived on time and we took Zig for a quick walk to the local park round the corner, so he could get his bearings and see Ziggy's favourite place for the morning run. Steve settled in quickly with a beer from the bar and then took Zig to the pub for some food. During the sit he always responded quickly to my messages asking how everything was going with Ziggy and also sent me a photo and a short video clip. I would've liked him to take Ziggy to the local park every morning, as i explained that's what he loves the most each day, as he meets up with his best mate since they were puppies, Griffin, and other dogs and walkers, but i think Steve preferred to do his own thing with him, which is fair enough and no harm done. Steve had just left when I got back and Ziggy was in good shape and the house clean and tidy, with bedding and towels washed and hung up to dry. I was concerned the next day to find 6 pouches of Ziggy's wet food still in the freezer and 2 more in the fridge, as it was only an 11 day sit and he almost always eats one pouch a day. Steve said that he had instead fed him a few packs of his alternative food as he didn't seem to want his usual food a few times. Although what was left of his alternative food didn't account for the discrepancy, Steve just said he wolfed down that food and he also gave him his cooked chicken as a treat and some salami. Thanks very much again Steve for all your efforts and especially for getting Ziggy more of his favourite chicken and best wishes.

Robin was the ideal housesitter-- great with pets and the wild birds we nurture; and great with house and plants. Fully recommend her.

Millie, Phil and Alby did an effortless job looking after our fur and feathered family. Millie is very calm, friendly and followed all routines with no problems. We returned home to happy pets and a lovely clean and organised house. We would happily recommend Millie and her family to any future sits and welcome them back here at any time.
