Mindi, the Dashshund princess and otherwise known as Minnie Mouse was a pure delight. She is happy pottering around with you and loves 'the ball' and cuddles. She is a really low maintenance pup. The home is spotless and really comfortable with everything you could need. The local area has many established coastal walking tracks and a huge black Swan population. The are has pristine bays and beaches with plenty of safe swimming and fishing options. It was a real pleasure to meet Val and Tim and to be entrusted with this housesit.
What a wonderful, idyllic setting, if you enjoy a rural location and caring for a lovely menagerie of animals, what a treat. Clara and family were bright and welcoming, communication and information pack clear. We enjoyed the whole experience so much we didn’t leave for the week! Monty was our constant companion, the most loving dog, completely obedient and the easiest to care for, getting older, he was content to follow us completing simple daily sheep and horse checks. Tintin the horse was gentle and friendly. Flossie the gentle ginger cat, independent and loving when seen. We were also fortunate to be there with newly hatched chicks, which we really enjoyed. The gorgeous comfortable home nestled by the private mill pond creates the most wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. We happily pottered in the beautifully developing garden, rowed on the pond and enjoyed wildfowl to woodpeckers while ensuring garden pots were watered during a glorious week of sunshine. If you enjoy a little gardening, you'll be greatly appreciated. If you’re lucky enough to be asked, don’t hesitate, and we really hope our dates will match again. Best Wishes xx

Melissa & Tom are amazing hosts! Great communicators, left thoughtful notes and directions, and left a detailed plan on the daily care taking off house and pets (this was so helpful). And their home is a wonderful retreat in the mountains. Now it would be impossible not to fall in love with Daisy! She is one of the sweetest, loving, funny, most playful creatures you will ever meet. She really is a lover. I miss her and our walks together! And Jethro is quite the playmate for Daisy. He is his own character and just loves chasing things (and sometimes getting chased by Daisy). And this is not to mention the 7 ladies in the chicken coop. They are fun and funny gals. And boy do their fresh eggs make a great breakfasts. A great sit in all domains. Highly recommend!!!!
