I wouldn’t hesitate too have Ellen and Tori back, in fact we’ve already discussed next autumn. Our 4 dogs instantly loved them, they sent me regular pupdates of the dogs on walks or just chilling in the garden, and recordings of the chickens. On our return the dogs and chickens were happy and healthy and clearly well loved. The house was spotless and the bedding was washed and already hung out to dry, and a lovely bottle of the local sparkling wine was left in the fridge for us. We are so lucky. We’ve only had two sits but both times the sitters have been amazing. Thank you Ellen and Tori x
I can’t say enough good things about Mary! She got a lot more than she bargained for in this housesit. Our community was the center of the most destructive fire in Colorado history. Mary had to evacuate with my two dogs. She did so efficiently and quickly, keeping my fur babies safe from both fire and smoke inhalation. She was forced to stay evacuated for several days and then returned home on a “boil water” order which also lasted several days. During this crisis I was unable to return home as I was out of the country. She communicated well with several of my family members who live nearby as well as with me. She also dealt with my Airedale’s ear infection which she detected early. This entailed a vet visit. My house was kept clean, communication was excellent and Mary proved herself to be a cool head in the face of crisis. I would happily have her sit for me again! I can’t thank her enough!
Colton was a fabulous sitter. He was communicative and sent photos of my cat daily. Very kind and caring personality. He was responsible and respectful and left my home in great shape.
