Courtney is amazing. We have struggled for so long to find someone who can meet our ‘diva’ springer’s needs and Courtney has done this immediately. She is very caring, relaxed, flexible and took on board exactly what Meg needed instantly. Courtney is brilliant at communicating and extremely helpful when we have needed to change bookings due to work commitments. She has recommended new walks for us as a family to explore, all of which are suitable for our mad springer off the lead and very near our house. Meg needs to be run off the lead and have lots of exercise - Courtney is absolutely able to offer this. We are so pleased to have found Courtney and excited for Meg’s continuing adventures with Pups and Paws 🐾 thank you 😊

Courtney recently looked after our dog and cat whilst we were away. She's also been giving our older dog some lessons. She is patient, clearly thinking about his individual needs whilst also being willing to engage in useful discussions with me, so I can also be trained to work better with him! A very good job all around and I would highly recommend.

Just wanted to add to Courtney’s unanimous 5 star reviews..! We moved to the area earlier this year and feel extremely lucky to have found Pups & Paws. Courtney is hard working, reliable, flexible with our erratic shifts, and very prompt with communication. Most of all, our dog Ajax absolutely adores her! I highly recommend her if you’re looking for dog care in the area.

Courtney is just the best! My 6 year old Labrador had only been In Kennels once and hated it as a much younger dog. I have recently moved to the area and had to find somebody to help me with my dog. Courtney has been absolutely fantastic, taking time with her and gaining her trust. I cannot recommend Courtney more highly and she genuinely puts the dog first.

Courtney is absolutely brilliant with our dog milo, he’s always excited to see her, she is flexible around our working hours and with collection and pick up. Competitive prices and you feel safe knowing your fur baby is in good hands.

Courtney looks after our springer spaniel and he is always so happy to see her. He enjoys his time with her and we are grateful for her services and care. She works very hard.

Courtney is just fantastic! Working shifts and keeping a puppy means we need a bit of extra help during the middle of the day - Courtney visits to feed and play with him. She has been doing a great job and I would highly recommend her to anyone with a puppy!

Courtney did a fab job of caring for our whippet Margot and our elderly cat when we went on holiday. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely be using her services again when we go away.

A brilliant cattery and definitely a place I will be using again. We were nervous to leave our cat but Dorwell were so kind and understanding. They really do understand cats and take time to get to know them. They were happy for occasional phone calls and even sent photographs, which certainly put our minds at ease. The space was great for our cat and they had a variety of different options, all were clean and to an excellent standard. I 100% recommend Dorwell Cattery. Thank you.

Would definitely recommend this cattery, staff are always friendly and accommodating for the specific needs of your cat. Being a crazy cat owner who hates leaving them, I felt reassured that he would be well looked after. The facilities are clean and very comfortable for cats. Thank you.

We have used Dorwell Cattery for a few years now and cannot recommend them highly enough. Our cat is now 17yrs old and we feel really stressed when leaving her, however we feel reassured by how lovely and caring the staff are. The cattery is spotless

Absolutely amazing! I've left my cat Chicco here a few times now, the staff are all lovely, the accommodation is immaculate, and Chicco was always happy to be there and very content on drop off and collection. I definitely recommend :)

Our 15 year old was very well cared for. She ate well and was well groomed. I have no hesitation in recommending Dorwell.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were flexible in extending a recent stay for my cat. Good facilities and the cat seemed happy there. I’ll definitely use Dorwell Cattery again.

Used to be an excellent cattery, however since the change in ownership standards have dropped and their more interested in relieving you of your money, I arrived 15 minutes late to collect my cat and was charged for a full day no allowance for the fact that collection used to be 11am but changed to 10 am, I'm sure this is in their terms and conditions but was never mentioned to me

So Disappointed. We have been using Dorwell Cattery for about twelve years now. We have always been happy with their service. We have fussy Siamese cats so we nearly always supply all their food and also their cat litter, never have we asked for a discount because of this. Last October we had our cats booked in for three nights but because of covid we had to cancel our trip and collected our cats after one night, we didn’t ask nor would we expect a refund, bear this in mind. This year our cats were booked in for just over a fortnight for the fee of £510, I’m not quibbling about that, that’s the price and I’m happy to pay, it’s just for context. We returned home late Sunday night after travelling for 29 hours and were very jet lagged. We arrived at 10.25 am, 25 minutes”late.” We were told there would be a fee of £30 as we were 25 minute late to pick up the cats. We questioned this and were told by the very nice young lady she would mention it to the owner. A few days later we had a call from the owner informing us that we would have to pay because “ those were the rules” and she was intransigent in this. She stated she would put the charge on our account which is now a mute point as we will no longer be using Dorwell Cattery. I’m saddened that a small family run business can treat their loyal customers with such disdain and in such a mercenary way.

Beach buddies family are lovely, accommodating and reasonably priced. Harry our cocker spaniel has been going there for years and has a great time. It really is home from home boarding, Harry even has his place on the sofa!! Totally recommend Clare and Chris to anyone 👍🏻🫶🐾❤️ …

Beach Buddies have been looking after our dog, Bruce, for over 5 years and the fact he gets beyond excited as we turn into their road speaks volumes. It truly is home from home and the love and attention he receives is outstanding. Our dog is family and finding the right care is so important. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

A warm and friendly atmosphere, very homely for the dogs. Clare was very accommodating when we were delayed and wouldn't accept any more money as compensation. I wouldn't hesitate to use Beach Buddies again. Thank you 😊

Booked our 2 dogs, toyah (Yorkshire terrier) and monty (labradoodle) in for the day. 01/07/21 found clare to be very knowledgeable, caring and very helpful. If your on holiday and need someone to look after your dogs, I highly recommend beach buddies.

Disgusting behaviour of waiting till dog owners have flown out the country to then say they are kicking dog out...... Withholding money leaving owners in a very distressed state. Deletes reviews on page and any negative feedback which misleads people into be leaving they offer a 5* service. Absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour from a business Have edited this as cannot respond to your reply.... I think you should take this up with the dog owner rather than assume I am the owner (which I'm not) ... The reason you state on here is not the reason they were given, this review is based on the way they have been treated and not given time to find alternative accommodation for him. And you do delete posts from your page as they have been removed and people blocked. There are always problems in business but the way they are delt with effects your reputation, maybe this should have been considered rather than leaving a family distressed 100's of miles away in another country the day after they fly out!

Our boy had a blast, and we felt very happy that he'd been looked after by people who really care about the dogs.
