Their communication throughout the whole process was thorough, clear, and thoughtful, keeping us updated on our kitties and the house, while allowing us the space to fully enjoy our three-week trip. It was such a relief knowing that our cats were in such caring and capable hands. Shannon & Aaron were incredibly respectful of our home, following all instructions perfectly. Ami is such a lovely person! We clicked immediately when we had our video call; she is cheerful and kind. It’s also obvious that she really likes cats and she was very excited about spending time with puma and Mārgā. She sent regular updates the days I was away; on my return the house was perfectly tidy and puma and Mārgā looked happy and relaxed!

Julie stepped in to save us last minute when our planned sitter got sick. She provided great care - including making sure our dog got her antibiotics. And she left everything really clean and orderly.

Kendal was wonderful to have sit!! She was responsive/communicative during her stay and my kitties were so loved and well cared for. My apartment was cared for and nice and tidy when I arrived home. I would welcome Kendal back to my home for another sit in a heartbeat!

Carly was extremely flexible and communicative. She provided daily updates. And was willing/comfortable giving Sydney medicine that was needed last minute for an infection. Sydney seemed happy upon our arrival home. Would absolutely invite Carly and Jesse to sit again!

Devins comminucation was great. Libby was well cared for and could tell she really liked Devin as she was running around looking for him when we arrived home. Would have sit again.

Loica

Loica and her daughter were great cat and house sitters for our 6 weeks away. Loica was proactive and very helpful with any house or cat concerns, which was super appreciated. We came home to very happy cats (they clearly loved them and Loica made a special effort to bond with Astrid who is a scaredy cat), and our house was in good shape. We're hoping we can do the trade again in the future. A big thank you to both of them!

Alina was an excellent sitter! Her love/joy/care for our dog (50lbs pit mix) was so apparent. She was a great communicator and we came home to spotless home. I highly recommend Alina.

Maria was an amazing sitter! We didn't have to worry at all about our home or kitties. She kept us updated daily with pictures, videos and a lengthy report about the activities of the day. Most importantly one of our kitties became ill and needed to see a vet and Maria walked with us through the whole process with the vet which was a relief being thousands of miles away. She was incredibly patient and caring with all that she had to deal with with our kitty. We would highly recommend Maria!

What an incredibly, peaceful and memorable 9 months!
Abi and Sam graciously welcomed us into their home with such warm hospitality, kind smiles and laughter that we felt instantly at ease.

The house is beautifully designed, clean and super comfortable with a roaring fire for those chilly nights and an inside/ outside design that had me feeling as though I was at one with the forest at any hour of the day.

Their home is such a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by lush rainforest and Australian bush, nestled in the picturesque Wattagan mountains. This home became such a haven for us during the time we spent here that at the end of 9 months I almost forgot to leave 😂

Over the 9 months an unexpected visa issue had Matt have to travel back to England and I (Ellen) stayed on to finish the sit. This became my little refuge. Abi and Sam were so wonderful and understanding about it all and Abis family was always nearby to lend a hand when/if needed.

Zambi and Zeba the stars of the show were treasures and I absolutely adored them.
Zambi with her playful personality always happy to greet you in the morning and chase a ball. I loved taking her to the beach to frolic in the water.
And Zeba with her quiet and loving nature who was always up for a cuddle, laying in the sun or by the fire, with those random bursts of excitability, wanting a play and chase around the yard, stole a piece of my heart 💜 These two souls will bring a smile and love to anyone they meet.

This housesit was an absolute gem and we feel so very blessed to have had this wonderful opportunity.
