The highest compliment I can give is that I trusted my dog with Iris. She is a little fragile health wise and has some separation anxiety. But I didn’t worry about her at all. And when I checked to see how he was dealing with the snow parking ban he had already taken care of things. I think you can trust your house and animals to Alex without worrying at all.

You will find no better pet sitter than Leslie. She was FANTASTIC! I never worried for a moment about our cats. She sent photos and videos every day. When we returned, the house was spotless. Nancy was wonderful! She was consistent and thorough with her communication leading up to her stay. She cared for our kitties with love and affection, sending status updates, pictures, and videos throughout her time in our house. The house was in an excellent state upon our return, and she even left a charming handwritten thank you note! We would definitely recommend Nancy as a house / pet sitter for others and would love to have her return for another stay in the future!

Sydney

Sydney stayed at our home for ten nights while we went on a cruise for our daughter’s wedding. Because we live on an island and the ferries were predicted to be cancelled because of inclement weather, she was flexible enough able to come a day early. She communicated via text and photos throughout our trip, which was reassurance that our dog, Lilly was very well cared for. She even made her some homemade pup treats! When we returned home, Lilly was quite happy, but kept checking the guest room to look for Sydney. My car and home were spotless; Sydney left us a few adorable gifts, which she really didn’t have to do! I would say she is truly the best dog sitter we have ever had and we hope she is able to sit for us on our next vacation!

Samantha and Andrew were amazing house and pet sitters! They were so sweet with my 3 cats and sent pictures of them cuddling and sleeping in their bed with them! Mary and John house- and cat-sat for us at short notice over Thanksgiving. They were great house-sitters, cozying up to the cats and implementing Josephine's rather complex feeding arrangement to the letter! They brought with them their tiny (5lb) dog Izy; our cats had never co-resided with a dog before, and we were a bit anxious about how well it might work out, but Mary brought a crate with her for the dog for the first few hours, and the cats got accustomed to the dog pretty well. Mary and John were also very flexible in terms of timing: we had arranged for them to arrive on a Saturday morning, but at the very last minute our plan for Saturday/Sunday was upended by the person we were visiting getting Covid, and they were willing to delay coming until Sunday afternoon. Thanks to their flexibility, everything worked out fine. Very nice couple!

We had to leave home at short notice because of a family illness in the UK and Julie pulled out all the stops to get to us in time. We were so grateful to her and impressed. She said she would do it and she did! She's such a nice friendly person, who obviously likes and cares about animals. We came home to a clean and tidy house (and terrace) and a very relaxed, contented dog, Jesse. Julie watered all of our plants that needed watering too. She's a safe pair of hands for sure in an emergency. We were not quite as prepared as we normally are for a sitter because of the circumstances but nothing seemed to faze her. We wish Julie all the best on the rest of her travels and a safe journey home. We highly recommend her for the care of your home and pets.

I LOVED taking care of Osa and Baffi (the wonder cat!!) Libby and Aaron's home is such a peaceful and cozy place to spend time and I was SO grateful to be able to spend Thanksgiving there! The animals really know their routines and were good at "training" me along the way. Osa is such a sweet little girl and we so much enjoyed giving her belly rubs. And what can I say about Baffi - WHAT a cat!! He's a star in the cat world, to be sure, and he lets you know it but he's also a cuddle bug! I especially loved how he would come along on walks and play catch with Osa. I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend time in Ojai at this great housesit and HIGHLY recommend it!  Elizabeth

Housesitting in Barb and Geoff's lovely home in Montclair Village was a treat. Markus, the gentle, affectionate and elderly family cat, very quickly found his way into our hearts. Markus requires some meds but he is very cooperative so it is an easy routine to follow. 
We were treated to supper and stayed overnight the day before our hosts' departure which provided the opportunity for a complete overview of responsibilities,  local information and emergency procedures.
Thoughtful and considerate, Barb and Geoff went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay a very pleasant and satisfying experience.
