I cannot say enough good things about Anna- and if my cats could talk- neither could they! I honestly think they were a teensy depressed from missing her. Anna took stellar top notch care of our boys- sending the sweetest videos of them loving on her! They looked so happy - it really contributed to us having the best time away, knowing that they were so content. When we returned, our home was spotless and such a joy to see after a stressful full day of travel. Anna is reliable, excellent with animals, neat and an all around lovely human. I can’t recommend her more highly and I would have her back in a heartbeat!
I spent beautiful days at Suri and Miko's house. The city and the neighborhood are very quiet and with many beautiful places nearby to visit by car. The house has everything you need. Tim's family was very attentive and they explained everything I needed. We were always in contact. I recommend spending a few days in Sotogrande under the care of Suri and Miko, two funny, easy-to-care, and cuddly cats. Thanks for letting me spend those days there.
From our first contact with Jo and Gavin, we were confident that we’d have a great sit. They were so welcoming and gave us a great handover when we arrived. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Barney is a very lovely, playful dog with the most beautiful and gentle nature. It was very cold and wet while we were there but there are a couple of playing fields an easy walk from the house where we could take Barney for play and ball-chasing, which he loves. In finer weather the local walks to, and around the spectacular local area with Barney would be fantastic. We’d happily return to look after Barney and highly recommend this sit to others.
We recently had the pleasure of housesitting for Joanna and caring for her delightful Airedale, Winston in the beautiful Beaconsfield. Joanna was incredibly lovely, ensuring a seamless experience with prompt and clear communication throughout the stay. Winston is such a sweetie, sometimes aloof and independent but quite impossible not to fall in love with. We loved going down to the kitchen to see him in the morning! Caring for him was not only easy but a pleasure. Our walks around Beaconsfield were highlights of the stay, thanks to beauty of the area and of course Winston's delightful company. He is well behaved, waits for you to dry his feet with the towel etc. in return for his favourites, a piece of carrot or cheese. The home itself is beautiful, spacious with a garden nestled in a lovely area close to the London with everything a sitter needs. There are supermarkets, restaurants, shops etc. located conveniently close by. Overall, our experience was 5 stars all around- fantastic. We would highly recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys the company of an endearing dog and appreciates the beauty of a well-cared-for home in a lovely area. Thank you Joanna and Winston for everything. All the best for now : )
This was our first fur baby sit and we could not have asked for a better experience. Amy and Ryan were so welcoming. The home was beautiful and surrounding area had much to see and do. Checkers is a fun loving and very well behaved dog. She went everywhere with us and loved the car rides to our hiking trails. Loves the water too. Stampy is an adorable cat who warmed up to us more everyday. Hope we can sit again for this awesome family.
We're grateful for Bob's warm hospitality in Louisville, CO. The dogs were delightful, and our neighborhood walks were enjoyable. The house, while full, exuded a unique charm with its cozy atmosphere. Though a bit cluttered, our overall experience was positive, thanks to Bob's kindness and the delightful canine companions.
Harper is a sweet dog who practiced social distancing initially but came around for her share of pets. Harper was quick with her bio business on walks and enjoyed a slow pace. She appreciated kind words. Bodie was too busy taking in nature to do his business on walks and he seemed to preferred quick bio breaks out the side door. In the backyard I was ready and willing to exercise my throwing arm but Bodie's retriever instinct didn't kick in. He sometimes would go over to the thrown toy but showed no interest in returning it for a repeat. Bodie had more interest in having his inside toys tossed and he would played with them where they landed. Harper and Bodie walked well together but seemed to enjoy different scents. They were very patient waiting for me to get their collars and leashes ready and opening the door. Leo joined us several times along the first street. Leo is a beautiful dark ginger who does not look his age and walks with a subtle swagger. Both Leo and Bodie were quiet bed companions while Harper was vigilant in her nightly watch over the upstairs. Leo waited on the front porch to be let in and he was very focused as he ate out of his bowl. Henry is a beautiful brown bunny who ran to my feet when he was let out of his inside hutch. I loved holding him and petting his soft fur. All four are clearly well-loved and cared for by the family. Carey and Jeff were welcoming and they provided a printed guide. I sensed a laid-back friendly vibe immediately. Their cozy home has a great Florida Room that I did not have time to enjoy only because I made use of the kitchen table to work. I did enjoy the rose garden in the front and appreciated the driveway to park my car. The street lights and well-lit houses made walking in the dark rainy mornings and evenings easier. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. Several neighbors greeted me on the walks. I wish it had been a longer sit.
