Super reliable, tidy as hell, plus she decided to do yard work too! Drea is the best. Came home to a spotless house. Highly recommended!
Erin is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. She gave us a thorough orientation of the house and caring for Geronimo before the sit started. She was available and communicative (despite traveling in Italy) and gave us regular reminders on any scheduled happenings. Geronimo was very sweet and fun. He took a few days to settle into his playful self, but once he felt comfortable, he was very easy. He can be a little stubborn on his walks so best to let him choose where to go with the right amount of persuasion. The house was very clean, well organized and felt comfortable. The location was great being close to the downtown area, farmers market and only 10 mins across the bridge to Portsmouth.
We wish we could have stayed longer! Tayler and Anya's apartment is in a great location with excellent cafe and eatery options. The Dog Walks: You need to be comfortable walking bigger dogs, but they behave well. Nala pulled at times, but I think that is because she is an energetic pup. Both Kokomo and Nico did wonderful on their walks. We even took them on a morning run (one at a time for about 1.7-2km each) to help them burn some energy. Nala stopped pulling once we were at a consistent pace! Nico enjoyed our run and never pulled. Kokomo, walked at a brisk pace, and he loved it. The Behaviors: They all have their unique, adorable behavior! I will note that as soon as Taylor and Anja left, they tried to see what they could get away with since their pet parents were gone. For example, wrestling a little too hard, or not listening. Don't let their cuteness get away with it! Once we used a serious voice (instead of a playful one), they listened EXTREMELY well! They even listened to us if we requested something that was not part of their routine. For example, Kokomo and Nico prefer to sleep on the bed, but once we brought up their dog beds, and told them they could not sleep with us, they listened and stayed on the floor the whole night. The Pet Parents: We mainly communicated with Anya. She is very friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond! Overall, this was a wonderful stay. These pups were a treat to have and we already miss them!
Charleen and her family are amazing, they are very helpful and friendly. Heidi is a nice dog, really obedient and lovely. The house is comfortable and the place is safe.
