Cat Sitters in South Golden Beach

This is only our second foray into using a house sitter and because we were leaving the house for four weeks, we really wanted to get it right. Tony & Wendy have a great profile and a video chat several months beforehand reassured Lynn and I that we had made the right choice. To be honest, we underestimated just how good Tony and Wendy would be for us. Plenty of pre-planning messaging was particularly important given that Tony & Wendy were travelling from Australia, so in terms of communication they were excellent. This became a feature of our relationship whilst we were away. We adore our dog but don't want to be bombarded with daily updates. In this regard, Tony & Wendy pitched it just right, sending the occasional update and picture. Perfect. In terms of management of our house during our absence, Tony & Wendy were the very best people we could have found. Tony is very handy and practical, so I knew that he would be able to cope with any issues that arose in/on/around our property during our absence. He fixed the hen house whilst we were away and ensured we were stocked up with fuel on our return form our holiday. To add to this whole dream-team scenario, it turns out Wendy is a clean queen. The place was spotless when we returned, everything in it's place and to top it all, a lovely dinner on our return. Wendy even attacked their bedroom with a vacuum cleaner on the day of their departure for goodness sakes. Their care of our dog Otto was exemplary. He was spoilt rotten with daily walks and, truth be told, he received more attention than we would normally offer him. He was gutted when they left. Hens were fed, greenhouse plants were watered and a few tweaks added to the vegetable plot. Tony & Wendy having previously lived in France was an invaluable element of their comprehensive skill set as they understand the cultural differences between English-speaking nations and the culture of France (adorable but sometimes frustrating and a little bit weird). This was important and reassuring to us. On a social level, we really hit it off with Tony & Wendy. They are open-minded and friendly and I suspect that our friendship will endure. We were so very lucky to find such a perfect match.

Sandra & Bernard where excellent house and pet sitters. My dog and cat are not used to other people but they all got along really well. Myself and my fur babies will have them back anytime. Thankyou both for making it easy for me whilst I was away.

Vanessa was incredible. Friendly, keen to please and very responsive to any requests. The pets were happy as, well fed, well patted. The house was immaculate when I arrived home. Vanessa put a lot of work into her stay and was very flexible (I arrived back early and this wasn't a problem). I couldn't recommend anyone more. She was great and she is the first I will contact for future stays.

Julie and Steve were ideal sitters for Liquorice. We wanted to have a video call and time to meet them before we left and they were very accommodating. Their communication was great and they shared lots of updates so we knew that she was well looked after. They left the place nice and tidy and I would definitely use them again in future.

Emma and David were a conscientious and very pleasant couple who love animals and provided great care to our dogs while we were away. We highly recommend them.

Our first experience leaving our beautiful boy at home was made so much easier by Larissa! Larissa went above and beyond to make sure Dash was cared for and loved the same way we would and we couldn’t be more grateful. zeewoi has cultivated a beautiful friendship for us as well as a blossoming romance for our pups, Dash and Bonnie ❤️

All seemed very good, had Whats App communication which kept us updated on the cats and the house. The cats seemed happy when we got home, the house was as we left it, a very nice couple.

Greg & Virginia were the perfect sitters. The house was spotless on return (even better than when we left!) and animals were all happy and well looked after. They asked all the right questions at the beginning of the stay which meant everything went to plan. Thank you so much!

Tanya and Michael were beyond helpful with my two fur babies. They dispensed medications, regularly walked them , did not over feed and most of all gave them lots of love and care. The house was exceptionally clean when I returned home. Thank you so much, I would have them back in a heartbeat.

Joy Anna was easy to communicate with, very reliable and looked after my two German Shepherds really well.

Ronnie and Richard were fantastic dog sitters for Frankie and Bollo, they kept us up to date daily on their adventures and left the house exceptionally clean with a lovely little gift. would highly recommend :)
