We spent 3 lovely days at Michaela and David’s peaceful home looking after lovely Pip , and two very sweet donkeys . It was our first time caring for donkeys but Michaela and David guided us through what to do and we really enjoyed it . We fed their cat who I glimpsed once but he had plenty of adventures to go and have so we didn’t see much of him . Pip is a friendly, well behaved dog and he loves his regular walks through the garden and paddock and then through several adjoining fields . We also enjoyed going into Bakewell centre , visiting cafes and exploring Bakewell without having to drive and look for parking . Michaela and David were friendly hosts and clearly communicated before and during our sit . We would recommend this sit and would happily return in the future.
Layne was so welcoming! She made all of the pet care directions very clear and I felt right at home. I would love to look after Petey and Miss Kitty again!
If you are fortunate enough to get selected to sit Mitzy and Max, you are in for a treat! The kittens are lovable and adorable. The house is immaculately clean, even with the cats around! This was a perfect sitting. Porridge reminded me the feelings of having my own dog. I couldn’t help cuddling and kissing her. She was as cute as a teddy bear. The geese were so funny when they run for food. I love watching them doing so. The chickens laid eggs everyday. It was great fun to look for eggs and pick them up. The garden was beautiful and the house was stylish. Irene and Mike live a proper English country life which I’m dreaming of. And they’re amazing people with beautiful soul. Thank you so much for having us. I would be happy to come back anytime. Love you all.🥰🥰🥰
Being the first time that Priyasha has used ths, and her great love for Hailey, meant some flexibility. Hailey is a delightful golden retriever that sometimes loved to walk and other times not and loves to play tug of war. When left alone Hailey loves to sleep. Handling her diet of raw food was easy as it had all been prepared and frozen. Hailey is fed vegetables in the morning, and half her raw meat at around 2pm and the other half at around 8:30pm. Priyasha is vegetarian and whilst Priyasha said I didn't have to, I was vegetarian during my stay. The apartment is well located with a park at the end of the street and buses a short walk away. As all public transport (buses, trams, trains) in Luxembourg (country) is free, it made getting around easy. Communication was good through whatsapp and I sent photos, videos and updates a couple of times a day. The bed was firm and the shower had very good pressure. Swati, a good friend of Priyasha, lives in the same building and is available to help out if needed.
Excellent communication, lovely home, great East Bay neighborhood, and a perfect pup! Nanci was kind and welcoming, and her lush garden a true joy to wake up to and a peaceful oasis for work or relaxation. The instructions for Cinder were clear, and Cinder herself is easy-going and a joy to hang to out with. Neighborhood walks are easy and pleasant, and there are great restaurants a few blocks away. I was able to stay in Nanci's Airbnb cottage for a few nights after the sit, which was super convenient and lovely in itself. I highly recommend this sit!
