Tim and Julie are GREAT parrot/bird sitters! I hope I can adequately convey how really great Tim and Julie are as pet/home sitters. We have an African Grey parrot who is not only a very social animal but [for such a small creature] requires a lot of work and interaction. We came back to a very content bird who was happily talking and singing. The house was spotless and all the laundry was done. Tim and Julie kept in touch with us before the sit, during the sit and when we were ready to return home [to make sure that we were able to get back when we said we would be back]. They sent us pictures of Corey and let us know what was happening. Tim and Julie were willing to come out and meet us and Corey and get oriented to the property and our parrot. They did everything they said they were going to do and much more. They were also willing to feed our wild birds outside [which in my opinion is above and beyond what they had to do but made us feel much better about being gone]. Not only all of that BUT we really enjoyed meeting them and felt extremely comfortable leaving Corey in their care. I can only hope that they would be willing to return for another sit in the future. I do not hesitate to recommend them for any parrot/bird/house sit. They are the best!
Lovely modern home near Wonderland Lake with easy access to the Skip bus into Pearl St. Olive is a very sweet dog and very affectionate. She needs a good run off leash and the Boulder Res is a really good place for her. Paulo the cat comes and goes and is no trouble. This was the second time I sat for Jodie. Area was lovely and peaceful, near Lucky's. Thanks Jodie.
Jackie & Roland's home is light, warm & comfortable with a nice garden. Axminster is well located, with good public transport links for exploring the easr Devon coast & countryside. I found Spicy to be a timid, curious, gentle & playful little cat. She likes to play with her toys (balls), come & go through her cat flap & keep a look out from the lounge window sill. Spicy did not sit on my lap but was happy to be nearby, & slept under my bed at night. Initially, I was concerned that Spicy was not eating enough, & that she might have problems with her digestion. A quick exchange of WhatsApp messages, & Jackie was able to reassure me that Sicy's appetite sometimes varies, from eating very little to then eating for England. I didn't get to meet Jackie & Rowland for the pet sit. But nonetheless I was made to feel welcome & appreciated. I recommend this Pet Sit.
It was truly lovely! Coco and Moxie were adorable and the apartment was gorgeous. I hope and look forward to any future sits with Mina.
Enjoyable sit in the hills of El Ceritto caring for Issie, a lovebug of a bernadoodle and Mochi, a mass of fur and a bit of a rascal, but affectionate when she wants to be. Issie loves her belly rubs, cuddling and lives for walks in the neighborhood. She's very well behaved on a leash. She loves other dogs and wants to visit with each. When I first arrived, she was shy for a minute or two and then got over it. She still has a lot of puppy energy at 3 years old. Mochi, who is an indoor cat, crawled on my lab and purred every night but she decides when to interact. Watch her swishing tail as a sign to stop petting! Overall both were a delight and I miss them already. House was clean and kitchen well equiped for a week stay. Hosts were kind enough to leave me some bubbly. My sleeping quarters were comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water. Friendly neighbors, lots of other dog walkers, many parks, incredible views and easy access to Berkeley. You will need a car for this sit.
Easy communication and pleasant sit. We had everything we needed. Taking care of Dozer and Lazlo was enjoyable and without any incidents. We had fun! Great neighborhood and very walkable. It was a comfortable sit.
We really enjoyed our time house sitting for Heidi and Jay! They made us feel welcome, left helpful instructions and we knew we could contact them if we needed to. Their home is lovely, inside and out. We felt very comfy in the guest bedroom and had access to everything we needed. We admired the surrounding bushland and got to check out the walking tracks, lookouts and cafes located close by. We fell in love with Alfie and Lily (we miss them!). They're gentle, well-behaved, adorable and funny dogs. We did a whole lot of playing, snuggling and laughing. We recommend a sit with Alfie and Lily if you need your cute dog fix! Thank you so much, Heidi and Jay. We appreciate you having us stay for the Easter weekend. Say hello to Alfie and Lily for us! Lucy and Hayley
