I had a great time spending 8 days in Santa Rosa to care for Julie’s two dogs (Lily and Lola) and five cats (Kikilua, Clover, OG, Olive, and Sassy). Lily is a big goofball, Lola is a happy & sweet dog, Kikilua is a giant long haired beautiful kitty, Clover is a cuddle bug, OG is the most adorable senior cat, Olive is very cute (but more shy), and Sassy is very independent. They are indoor and outdoor cats that always spend the night inside in the evenings. The dogs have a large backyard to spend time and get fresh air, but often times just prefer to take a snooze inside the house. Julie’s place is within 15 minutes of Downtown Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and Rohnert Park and is very close to Highway 101. I was able to do a lot of dining out and hiking in nearby Taylor Mountain Regional Park. Her place is very centrally located to make it easy to visit nearby sites. I appreciated the opportunity to house & petsit for Julie and had a great time visiting Santa Rosa!
