Rosie and Steve are gems. It would be good to think of "rooms for improvement" but we can't think of any. They are reliable and excellent communicators and extremely friendly and caring people. They are very understanding pet sitters and managed Tam's little foibles very well. They left the house spotless and the washing on the line which made coming home so much easier. We will certainly be inviting them to return.
Tania's housesit was excellent. Arrangements were seamless prior to her stay, and communication was efficient and prompt. She is well organised and relaxed about things, and I felt completely confident in her care of my dog and home whilst I was away. Housesitting arrangements should be mutually beneficial and I certainly felt this was the case for me. I know she gave Freddie the same love and care that I would, and I am grateful to have had her look after things whilst I was away. She would be welcome back any time.
Julia sat for our two dogs and cat for a long weekend and while unfortunately due to our travel plans we did not get to meet her, she was truly a stand out Housesitter! Communication was excellent, both before and during the sit. It was clear she really enjoyed spending time with the pets even if our younger dog was a bit of a handful. She also left the house very clean and tidy. We’ve had many sitters throughout the years on zeewoi, and Julia is one of the best!
What a gorgeous location! The animals (goats, chickens, dog and kitty) and farm were easy and a joy to care for every day. We had a comfortable and fun meet up with John and Diane the night before we began the sit. They toured us through the farm, answering our many questions and then took us for a meal, which was unexpected, but quite lovely. Solo is a love. He made every day special as we walked through our chores. His allowing us to get near and give him a belly rub and a hug was quite an accomplishment, as he is a determined Nana to his goats. All together a wonderful sit we highly recommend.
