We were very happy with everything about the experience. The home was beautiful, neighborhood felt welcoming, the pups were very well behaved and the location was perfect for our visit upstate. It was nice to feel at home away from home. Thank you both for the hospitality!

I absolutely LOVED my time here in every way. Leen and Kostas were very welcoming and hospitable. They have a beautiful home that is set in an amazing location less than .4km up the hill from the beach lending to amazing views.

The animals are such a pleasure to be around. All the cats have the most wonderful personalities and are very sweet, loving and playful (except Psipsino bc he’s older and doesn’t play much but he’s still very sweet). Meli is such a sweet girl. She lounges around most of the day and lets you know when it’s time for her walk/hike on the beach. I’m a huge lover of the ocean and hiking so this daily route was something we both looked forward to. She’s quite the adventurous, explorer like myself. I took her on a longer hike with me and she was so good. She’s very well behaved and listens to commands really well. She does great off lead on her walks and comes to me when I call for her (unless someone has food, lol). I did not, however, let her off lead on the long hike as that’s not recommended on this island with lots of sheep, horned sheep goats, road crossings, etc. but she still did great and we had so much fun. The chickens are great as well. Feeding and taking care of them is simple and enjoyable. Chip (the lone rooster) is very talkative and would walk around with me. The hens laid 2-4 eggs a day during my stay and they are delicious. The younger hens (I called them the sisters, lol) have an amazing view up the hill behind the house. All the animals are easy to care for and well behaved. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed their company.

Andros is a beautiful island and very peaceful during the off season that I was there. Mountains, ocean and sunshine = paradise, lol. They have buses that run from the port to some of the other cities on the island based on ferry arrivals which allowed me a couple trips to see more of the island for a few hours a couple of the days I was there. They probably do even more routes during peak season. All that just to say, if you don’t have a car you don’t have to have one unless you want to go somewhere the buses don’t go. I even walked to Gavrio port to go to the organic market which has some gluten free options I need and Yaness (the owner; I may be spelling that wrong 😬) is SUPER nice. There are other markets much closer. One of which is right down the hill and has lots of stuff and another just a little ways down the road that is a little bit bigger.

I felt very safe there not only bc Meli is a great watch dog but because it’s a safe place. I felt comfortable running down on the main road (though do watch carefully because people fly through there and there are sharp curves). Though most everyone will move over to give you space.

I really enjoyed my time here very much. I loved getting to know the animals as well as Kostas and Leen. They are really awesome people. I hope to see them again sometime. I would highly recommend this sit.

Ernie is a sweetheart. We bonded immediately and spent lovely 10 days together. He’s easy to care for, and he loves his snacks. We had a lot of fun playing with his toys and going for walks when it’s not raining (he hates the rain lol).

Jessica lives in a beautiful and very comfortable home. The location is great for food, for walks, for getting to Downtown. She is super welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for the stay. I miss Ernie already and would highly recommend this sit. Thanks again for trusting me with your fur kiddo ❤️

John and Allison and the whole family were simply wonderful. They were so welcoming and generous with their home. Fred is an AMAZING dog. He loves all the cuddles. He’s affectionate and sweet and simply easy. I loved taking Fred on adventures around Denver and the surrounding areas. He was simply a best friend to have in a new city. The cats were easy to look after and very low maintenance. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Nakuuti and Silla are the best! They both warmed up to us really quickly and we were best buds during our short-ish stay. They are both very well behaved inside their home and relatively easy to deal with when walking them. Silla does tend to pull but he learns quickly if you keep the leash short. Coots on the other hand is treat motivated, he'll go the distance but might need some coaxing with some goodies. They are also a blast to jog/run with!

Anna's apartment is lovely and well equipped. Well located and easy to get around most of Ottawa by walking.

Hope to see the boys again when we pass thorough town. Already miss them greatly 😢.
