Lovely two nights looking after calm, gentle and easy-going Alfie. Sophie gave us a tour of the house, which is in the countryside near Marwell. There are several footpaths around the house to explore and a few towns ten minutes drive away. They have a big garden with lots of space to play and we also enjoyed the board games in the house and using the Aga and woodburners. Alfie requires two walks a day and was unbothered by rain. He’s a slow walker so walks are very relaxing. He has two feeds a day and medicine to administer. Alfie keeps to his bed most of the time, dozing on and off but got most excited playing with a tennis ball and running down hill. He loved strokes and cuddles. We also looked after the 4 chickens, letting them out to roam the garden, topping up water/food and freshening up bedding. Overall a gorgeous dog to spend time with.
I absolutely loved this sit. Earl and Buddy were the highlight of my autumn and I loved spending the fall with them. The neighborhood is wonderfully walkable and within walking distance to Target, Costco and even professional (minor) league baseball. A great time and a great sit!
My experience with Greg, Sammy and all of their neighbors couldn’t have been better. Greg communicated clearly and consistently, from his welcome guide, to printed instructions and regular communication throughout my stay. More than that, he went above and beyond to get me a guest pass, and introduced me to his neighbors before he left. His neighbors deserve their own 5⭐️review! They were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure I knew I could reach out if I needed anything at all. Stan from next door helped with the yard and fixed a couple things while Greg was away, and every person I met on our daily walks was friendly. And then there was Sammy… the true star of the show. He is genuinely the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. He is super well behaved, adorable, and highly entertaining when it’s mealtime. (It’s a squeaky toy thing.) I absolutely recommend this sit for anyone considering it.
I had a wonderful stay with Kisu. She is loyal and protective; luckily I was quick to earn her trust. The house is very spacious with amazing views of San Francisco. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. I would definitely look after Kisu again.
Daphne was an amazing and generous host and her girls are the best! Both Willa and Pippa are super sweet, well behaved, and so affectionate! I had a great time with them 😁
We had an enjoyable visit with Curtis and Harry, two charming and laid back cats. Bill and Lorrie were gracious and accommodating, and the home is comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring all of the areas of Nashville. We loved walking the neighborhood and the local parks. It is quiet and peaceful, and much recommended. Curtis takes his insulin like a champ.
